Efreeti Touch (Combat) Feat damage question

I have a question on this.

It says you spend 2 elemental strike attempts to use this power, though the elemental strikes only say use one per round (kind of odd) but the question is this:

If you're spending 2 attempts for this do you double your dice damage because your spending 2 attempts or is just one normal elemental strike damage hit?

This is coming up because I have a monk of the four winds and his damage is already sick with this stance set up.

just a normal hit, but it uses 2 of your per day charges.
