Question about Globsters?

Rules Questions

These creatures are Ooze type.

Dose that mean that they can slid under closed doors and through bars?

Also the description and picture says they have a "opening a vast maw filled with teeth". Then why don't they get swallow? or any bite attacks?

From the description, I would say no. Just being an ooze doesn't necessarily mean you're a puddle. It typically refers to having a fluid (not liquid) composition lacking distinct musculature or organs or central nervous system.

You have to either look at the abilities (like compression) or the actual size and description. A gelatinous cube is an ooze, but it can't fit through a doorway, let alone under one. In fact, it's one of the few creatures that actually blocks an entire square instead of just providing cover.

While a globster is probably squishy, it's description makes it seem like it's pretty girthy, being composed of bodyparts which might jus tbe flesh, but could be bones and such. Being large size, and looking like a washed up corpse of a whale, it's probably pretty sizable, and nothing tells me it looks like a puddle. So I would say no to going under doors or through bars. Especially after it's eaten a creature and is described as being all bloated and having undigested body parts in it.

If an ooze is described as a puddle, like a slithering tracker perhaps, than it likely can get under most doors or even 'drip' down through floorboards to a lower level.

As for no bite attacks, a good point, it could certainly have one. It doesn't, but maybe the reason is that all those teeth lining its orifice are stolen and undigested body parts from sea creatures and other prey. They could just be rotten, fragile, unrooted bits of bone just glopped into a hole that the Globster seems to open as it moves. As such, while they can look disgusting and scary, it's no different than falling into a swimming pool of gelatin that some madman sprinkled teeth into. That's just a suggested explanation though.
