Beast Bonded Witches and Enhanced Familiar - What does it mean?

Rules Questions

I was a little curious about what exactly Enhanced Familiar from the Beast Bonded Archetype gives to a normal or Improved Familiar. If the terms used in it's definition make that clear I expect I am just not that well versed.

If I am a level 9 Witch with a Faerie Dragon familiar, which itself has skills (of course) and spells, what exactly would be difference from it being an Enhanced Familiar vs just an Improved Familiar? Gains Feats, spells, spell levels, or anything?

I am very curious about exactly makes an Enhanced Familiar better.

The only thing Enhanced Familiar does is increase the spellcaster's effective level by 1 on the familiar table.

Parts of your question suggest that you should probably perform a closer reading of the familiar rules. For example, familiars never gain feats based on the spellcaster's level.

Please note that the Beast-Bonded archetype is VERY poorly written so check with your GM(s) on how they want run its abilities. For potential issues, see this thread I made a while ago.
