Anti-Magic Field and Ghosts

So my friend brought up this idea that if you had a sorcerer ghost cast the spell Anti-Magic Field in his area, how would you be able to defeat him. First he ask if a ghost could even exist inside the bubble. I told him yes according to the spell as long as the ghost wasn't summoned it is still there because it falls under undead. But then he asked how would you defeat the ghost? Since the spells nullifies any and all spells, spell like ability's, and most if not all supernatural abilities, magic weapons become non magical so therefore can't hit a ghost. The only way o could see that you could use to defeat it is energy and technology weapons since they do energy damage and are not magical. Is there any other way I am not thinking of that would be possible to defeat the ghost?

Call an incorporeal outsider, such as a shadow demon with planar binding/ally spells and have it kill the ghost for you. since all of the ghosts attacks are magical or supernatural, it would be unable to do much to defend itself without dropping the AMF; at which point you can use magic again to kill it.

A sorcerer ghost only can cast the spells it learned in life. I don't see a living sorcerer learning anti-magic field considering that he has to be in the center of it.

On the other hand, his doing so may wind up explaining how he became a ghost. :)

Turn the question around: what harm can a ghost in an AMF still do? All its abilities are magical so they turn off too.

Thanks and I did not know that ghost can't learn spells after they have been dead. Where you get that information? True that would lead to it being killed. So with the planar ally thing would it blink out of the spell resistance check passed? And your right the ghost wouldn't be able to do anything but could it still run away by going through walls?

Ghost Salt works too.

Ghosts in general, are essentially people "stuck" in the ultimate idee fixee. They remain in the world because they are hung up on something that keeps them from moving on. If they had the capability of evolving beyond their present state, they'd be moving on... and learning is a form of evolution.

Holy water affects undead.
Is it still holy in the anti-magic field? I dunno. I'd probably go with it.
