If I cast Versatile Weapon on my arrows, then shoot an arrow at a foe outside the spells range, does the arrow maintain the effect of the spell?

The spell range in this case, is the range at which you can cast the spell on the ammunition. In other words, you could transform someone else's arrows across the room. Once the ammunition has been transformed, it remains so until the duration expires.
