RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16

GRANDMASTER HAN (pictured)
NG runari artiforged 10
A retired veteran honored enough to have several of his limbs replaced with magical devices, Grandmaster Han is a boisterous old man unafraid to look death in the eye. He serves as master-at-arms onboard the airship Harsh Words with his business partner Sylvia in their company Stalwart Investigators. He secretly hopes to one day find a means to resurrect his deceased daughter -- or die trying heroically to join her in the afterlife.

His companions include:
- Sylvia (raccoonfolk investigator), childhood friend of his daughter and business partner. He often sees her as a second daughter.
- Izzy (kitsune haunted oracle of the flames), a strangely stoic worshiper of Sarenrae "blessed" with a burning gaze he hides under a pair of goggles.
- Wysteria (lizardfolk cartomancer witch), a mild-mannered witch who worships a dragon goddess
- Trent (human ranger), a grounded though rugged fellow who acts as a grounded foil to Han's zeal

RoTR, Level 5

Master Jyureel, Ex-Internal Affairs LG Elf Investigator, played by me (Retired, NPC, Head of Sandpoint Solutions, LLC)

Malthakus CN Tiefling Eldritch Scoundrel Rogue/Arcane Trickster, played by me (Rival to Dalphon, Free Slave, Asmodaus owns his soul, HATES demons and racism)

Dalphon CG Kasatha Rogue/Shadowdancer, played by friend (Rival to Malthakus, confirmed hunter, wont use stealth tactics to recon, kleptomaniac of useful mundane items, owes Jyureel his life)

Zektar LG Gnome Cleric of Iomadae, played by friend (Philanthropist, womanizer, veteran medic, war trophies, accidentally racist, no Brain-Mouth filter, loves the orc)

Gark XX Half-Orc Fighter/Inquisitor, played by GM's wife (Bad at killing things, great in social situations <1 minute long, loves losing money at cards, collects dead things and uses them as weapons, soft spot for animals, hates the gnome)

All hate the straight laced Ex-Cop who made them sign a contract that didn't give any individual an advantage but takes 10% to expand business and hold for emergencies...

Liberty's Edge

My group are just starting Mummy's Mask. They are 'The Dungeoneer's Union' (all those other guys are scabs).

Anyway, the group is as follows, All but my character played by friends of mine, genders matching that of the character, and all are 2nd level characters at the moment:

Eloria Spiritsong [CG F Catfolk Oracle of the Heavens (Spirit Guide) 2] - Our employer/glorious leader. Second smartest PC, but no Wisdom to speak of, tends towards being vain and temperamental, but not a bad employer all things considered. Her eyes are chartreuse, and she gets very upset if people get that wrong. Has a Climb speed, which has been surprisingly handy, and is...mediocre at physical combat, but has some really nice spells if we ever fight anything that's alive, has a mind, or has weapons. Any of the three would do.

Akil Rashidi [NG M Half-Orc Investigator (Empiricist) 2] - My character, and the group's trapspringer, knowledge guy, and speaker of Ancient Osirion (he's a well-educated guy). He's also good at a bunch of other skills, for obvious reasons, and does pretty decent melee with a Longspear. A local of Wati, he worships Khepri, and has elaborate tattoos to prove it. Very analytical and an occasional voice of reason in the party. Often plays straight-man to his cousin's hijinks. He looks a little funny, with a lanky build and too-long arms for his body, but makes up for it with charm (Cha 7, but uses Int on social stuff). Union treasurer and secretary.

Kamal Rashidi [LG M Half-Orc Paladin of Khepri (Oath Against Undead) 2] - His concept is basically a union organizer. The player is keeping a list of chapters in the union rules so his references to them will be consistent. Consistently hilarious, for the most part. Cousin of Akil, and gives him a lot of crap for having gone off to college rather than sticking around. An archer, in terms of combat role, and a pretty solid one. Not prone to the best of judgment outside combat (low Wisdom). He, too, has lots of tattoos showing his devotion to Khepri. He and Akil are also, for the record, more like 1/4 Orc than actually half. They're the children of Half-Orc immigrants (probably from the Mwangi Expanse) and local women.

Rhalik Elkheart [NG M Kellid Kineticist (Earth) 2] - Coming from a deeply impoverished tribe in the Land ofthe Mammoth Lords, Rhalik is adventuring to become wealthy and then return home to use that wealth to help his people. He has acquired a keen eye for the value of things. He's also the mundane medic of the group, and the only one with Stealth or Survival, making him our scout. Kinda quiet outside combat, but not inclined to making bad decisions (has a Wis of 14...the group's highest, and a Cha of 7, tied for second lowest).

Dolgrin Drunkenfist [CG M Dwarf Brawler (Mutagenic Mauler) 2] - A self professed Monk of Cayden Cailean, Dolgrin is also a brewer, and refers to his Mutagen as his 'ironbrew'. He's a drunk, and utterly worthless at anything social (Cha 6), but he's definitely the heavy hitter of the group in melee combat, and the pother comic relief aside from Kamal with his drunken antics. He's from a rich family of stone masons, and has a surprising knowledge of Osirion architecture specifically.

We are running a generic game, but in a home brew world. All characters are level 3

I wanted to play something different, so I came up with
Tank Gnoll half giant, Savage Warrior
Neutral Male age 18, height 12 foot
STR 25 Dex 15 Con 20 Int 12 Wis 11 Cha 8
He was a pet project of a rather evil alchemist wizard. Through magic and chemicals, he was turned into a giant. Given just enough smarts to solve problems, and long for freedom. Freedom that came at the hands of a head strong young sorceress, who not only killed his former master, but asked him to join her adventuring party. He is now searching for the missing sorceress as the kingdom slowly plunges into war.

Michaela "Plum" Belarus Cleric/sorceress Draconic bloodline, White Chromatic. Also played by me and is 3rd lvl in both. Mainly just a healer and knowledge resource for the other players.
LG female age 15 height 5' 3" purple hair and dresses in all purple. Is sort of group leader as she is from the most powerful family in the area and is looking for her missing older sister. She also serves as comic relief.

Anriab Shortclaw Elf Ranger, played by my wife
NG female age 30 height 6 foot
Daughter of the Elvin enclave leaders, adventures because she hates her position and status due to birth. Friends with Michaela and her older sister.

The other two characters are both new to the whole table top RPG thing, so we are still feeling out their characters. We are supposed to have another player who was going to be an Undine monk, but he has never shown up.

Kull Human Barbarian, played by a friend
NG male age 20 height 6 foot
Eldest son of an average family, in a nomadic tribe. Convinced quite easily by the tribe's elders to help Plum search for her sister to strengthen ties with the ruling local family.
Shadow Elf Rouge, played by friend's wife
NG female age 30 height 6 foot
Childhood friend of Anriab, no other back ground

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Rothgar (aka "Eater of Cats", "Slayer of Gobilins", "Killer of Orcs", "Squasher of Bugs", "Wrecker of Doors", "Destroyer of Chairs", "Beheader of Giants", "Crusher of Bones", etc etc) (played by my best friend)
CG Male human (ulfen) barbarian 11
Loyal and devout barbarian of the party and worshiper of Cayden, he is somewhat two cumquats sort of a pear as whenever someone asks who he is he always (much to the frustration of the party) shouts out, "I AM ROTHGAR" and then begins spouting his many many self-given titles (of which there are many). With each feat of bravery, fortitude, and outright stupidity, Rothgar gives himself a new title. The party is currently giving heavy consideration into dowsing his grog with multiple potions of silence in an utterly vain attempt to shut him up for at least a week

Galen (played by my other best friend)
LG Male human arcanist 11
An oddity among other spellcasters as he is principled and firmly opposed to any magical research involving undead or evil outsiders, Galen uses his arcane power to aid the unfortunate and put down evil wherever he finds it. While his party members give him no end of grief when it comes to doing rather idiotic things, Galen never the less has grown rather fond of them all and will gladly refrain from casting a fireball spell down on Rothgar or the Slag if he knows either of them is on their last legs (a rare event if ever there was one).

The Slag (played by my brother)
LG Male dwarf brawler 11
Always referring to himself in the third person, the Slag is a dwarf of many words and many more muscles. Often referred by Galen as, "a miniature nigh unstoppable killing machine that not even a Balor could put down for good", the Slag loves nothing more than a rousing round of whooping evil's sorry tush then ending the adventure with a huge meal and plenty of ale (and maybe a quick brawl with Rothgar before bed as a nightcap). Ironically, the Slag as only one weakness and that is children. He loves to read them stories, tell them of his adventures, and has, on more than on occasion, faced death square in the face in order to protect them. The race of child does not matter, "the Slag will protect the children as a mother stork embraces her young"!

Celia Hellreaver (played by my girlfriend)
NG Female ekujae elf fighter (archer) 9/sorcerer 1/arcane archer 1
Daughter of her tribe's leader and a princess amongst the ekujae, she has disobeyed centuries of espoused teachings and warnings to leave her people in order to be with the human man she has fallen in love with (aka the male human paladin of Ragathiel "aka Ash"). Celia knows their life together will be brief for an elf but she's determined to make the most of her time with her husband by adventuring together with him. Fortunately, it seems fate has smiled upon the couple as their friend and companion Galen managed (through great expenditure of favors and gold) to acquire a few vaulted potions of youth. Celia is aware of her husband's painful past and continues to support him in order to help him overcome that woe.

Ash Hellreaver (played by me)
LG Male human (chelexian) paladin of Ragathiel 11
The foundation and the rock that holds the party together, Ash was originally born Ashley Hellreaver, the only female child to be born to the Hellreavers (a minor noble family in Cheliax) in almost a generation. The family prided itself on producing male hellknights of prestige and was highly chauvinistic of seeing women serve in any military capacity. Ashley fought against this stigma all her young life and yet was utterly crushed when her rigid as iron father told her she had be betrothed to a arrogant and cruel noble man loyal to house Thune. Yet, that very same night, at a loss of what god to pray too, a dream came to young Ashley telling her to seek out the mystery cultists of Arshea in the city of Magnimar. At the dream's end, a beautiful butterfly winged humanoid appeared at Ashley's bedside and instructed her to gather what belongings she could, get dressed, and prepare for her new journey. Knowing this was what she wanted, Ashley went with the powerful Azata via teleporation to Magnimar and ended up on the doorstep of a burlesque parlor that was in fact, a temple of Arshea. Ashley walked in to that temple after staying with the mystery cultists for awhile and discovering her true identity, Ash eventually walked out. Hoping to serve the cause of righteousness, Ash once again encountered the Azata on a starlight night and asked what powerful angel in heaven could he serve as a knight? The Azata smiled knowingly and took Ash to the mystery cultists of Ragathiel and Ash has served as a Paladin of the Angel of Chivalry ever since.

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

My girlfriend runs a homebrew setting which is moderately intrigue heavy, and involves a great degree of political and racial tension.

The part is currently level 8, and in the midst of a civil war.
Amusingly, the party is entirely charisma-based, with not a single member having a Strength, Intelligence or Wisdom score above 14. The highest Wisdom score is in fact held by the Paladin's Gryphon mount.

Nalzij Latissier - LG Female Half Orc Paladin (Redeemer)
Party leader, and defender. Immeasurably stubborn, she serves as the moral compass of the group and reluctantly handles most affairs with nobility, thanks to the influence of her foster family.
Struggling with the limits of mercy as the party is accumulating refugees and orphans from all kinds of questionable origins, not all she's happy with.

Engir Gythel - LG(formerly LN) Male Gnome Lore Oracle (VMC Bard, Arcane Eldritch Heritage)
My character, the party Seneschal and general support/utility monkey.
a descendant of a long line of powerful arcane tricksters, illusionists and evokers. He resented the trouble his family would invariably get involved with, disinherited himself and abandoned his kin. This caused his own bloodline magic to invert and curse him.

Astrid Estion - CG Female Tiefling(Rakshasa/Elf) Summoner
Deeply emotional, if talented heiress to a thaumaturge's guild that was disbanded. Her hot-headed attitude gets her into trouble at times, but her powerful elemental Eidolon and underground connections have made her an invaluable ally.

Nana de Rosa - LG Female Half-Elf Bloodrager (3pp Blood Scoundrel, not sure on bloodline)
Jokingly referred to as the party blender, and a late entry to the group. Half-eves in the setting are in the middle of the racial crossfire, and this has left the girl tense and on edge. Working with the Paladin to keep emotions under control and better save other half-elves and orphans who are victims of the war.

Anarod Gythel - N Male Gnome Sorcerer (Cold Elemental Bloodline)
Brother of Engir, a sorcerer with an inherent talent for ice magic of questionable origin. His callous attitude and piercing sense of humour has caused a significant deal of problems, but the value of his magic and knack for deception is too useful for the party to deny.
Moreover, Anarod's cold nature and sharp wit has kept the party's emotions in check on a number of occasions.

Party for a homebrew setting. All are level 5

Sen Alcrest. Played by me. LG Male Human Paladin. Age 18. Traits are Signature Moves and Marked by Unknown Forces. A villager kid who found an old sword in the woods and swore an oath to the world to protect people when his village was under attack by demons. He left his village to fulfill his oath and to investigate the mark that was inscribed on his hand when he swore it. Prized possession is a scarf his mom gave him before he left home. He's started to understand that his provincial upbringing has left him without much knowledge of the wider world, and is embarrassed at his own ignorance. In truth, he has no last name like basically everyone in his village. "Alcrest" is just the name of his village and no one listens when he tries to explain. As a result, the rest of the party believes he's an impoverished noble and his village his holding. After visiting a very old underground shrine, his sword has started to grow more powerful. He's beginning to realize that whatever entity inscribed the mark onto his hand and led him to his sword has a history and influence deeper than he could have imagined. Nonetheless, he's stated that refuses to be a pawn of fate or an instrument of anyone's will but his own. He still intends to fulfill his oath to save anyone he happens upon, but he's starting to get suspicious about who exactly he's saving the world for. He's found a link between the holy spirit he summons into his sword and the first founding of the empire. He has since begun seeking out the missing holy emperor, who likely knows more about his situation than anyone else.

The rest of the party:

Kleia Noscrim. CG Female Human Infernal Sorceress. Age 18. Traits are Infernal Influence and Rich Parents. Second child (now heiress) of the noble House Noscrim, who mixed their blood with devils to enhance their magical power. When her arcane potential started entering a growth spurt, she was sent by her family to serve as a magician's student and learn how to control it. She was suddenly called back to her family's second home in the capital, and the town she was staying in along the way was attacked by the fey (this was the event that got the party together). As an affluent noble from a trendy locale like the capital, she seems flighty and capricious, but has a deep sense of personal responsibility and something approaching noblesse oblige. Recently, she's learned that her older brother (who was supposed to become the family head) was killed while attending to his sworn duty to the royal family (a pact forced upon the Noscrim family by both the church and crown in exchange for overlooking their union with devils). She was the first to mistake Sen for a landowner.

Takehiko Hiiragi. TN Male Human Mystic (Formerly a Kensai. He was rebuilt to better fit his concept). Age 26. Traits are Demon Slayer and Beast Bond. A swordsman from a distant land and a scion of a warrior-caste clan of demon hunters. He was sent out by his family to reclaim a powerful magical sword stolen from their ancestors. Based on news from the homefront, he thinks the real reason he was sent out was because his homeland is embroiled in civil war between two lords and his family didn't want him to be sent to die in the name of a lord who had done nothing to deserve his fealty. House Noscrim agreed to give him information on the sword he seeks in exchange for retrieving their daughter. Hiiragi is basically (as described by his player) the sidekick. His job, to quote John Rogers, is to say "So, let me get this straight..." He's a bit put-off by the trouble his charge and her new friends keep getting him into, but so long as he's paid enough to keep fed, clothed and housed, he's more or less willing to go along with it. True enough, House Noscrim made good on their promise and told Hiiragi where his family's sword is: in the hands of a warrior who used it to claim a fortress from the border marches of the Fey Confederacy. Hiiragi, for his part, would prefer not to kill the sword's current owner. But if that's what has to happen, well, it's just bad luck, you know?

Meipha. NG Female Elf Ranger. Age 120. Traits are Reckless and Imperial Soldier. A scout for the Fey Confederacy's frontier troops. Meipha was all but exiled after killing her superior officer for trying to strike a deal with an agent of the human Gransurg Empire. Meipha doesn't know where the evidence of her CO's treason ended up, but she knows that the noble who conscripted her unit was involved. She was involved with the attack that got the party together, but grew suspicious of a guerrilla strike so deep in enemy terrain, defected and helped the party drive off and eventually kill her unit. Now considered a deserter and a domestic terrorist, Meipha doesn't see herself really going home any time soon. She really just wants the war between the Gransurg Empire and the Fey Confederacy to end so she can find a new home. She wants to strike a deal with the Imperial Military to give up info on the Fey noble's holdings and base of operations in exchange for officially becoming an imperial citizen. She's kind of disgusted that she's committing the same treason that she killed her CO for, but she's telling herself that she's doing it for the sake of ending the war.

Morgram of the Great Wall. LG Male Dwarf Cleric of Titanic Progius, God of the purifying power of craftwork, the resilience of the mountains and the divine euphoria of the holy word. Age 86. Traits are a modified Exalted of the Society and Saint's Ward. A priest from the Great Wall dwarven hold. In his homeland, Morgram was one of the priests who held the Great Wall against demonic incursion. He has since left the Great Wall on pilgrimage to find enlightenment and return home a living saint. Morgram sees traveling with his new friends as part of his pilgrimage, and recognizes the rune inscribed on Sen's palm as a letter from an ancient stone engraving left behind on the Great Wall when Progius left behind his physical body and carved the mountains (and the Great Wall itself) from his flesh. Morgram is otherworldly and intense, a wild-eyed, wild-haired priest garbed now in holy robes blessed as sacraments by one of Progius's saints. In his own words, his faith and reverence, tempered through his holy garb, are sufficient protection from all peril. Morgram's personal quest has received the least amount of development, but the rest of us can't wait until we have reason to visit the Great Wall. If Morgram's an example of a priest in the middle of pilgrimage, then the living saints enshrined in the Great Wall's stonework must be something else.

edit: Typing. I am good at it.

I am GMing the Jade Regent Adventure Path. We are nearing the end of The Hungry Storm (Book 3) and there is currently only one PC that is both alive and still with the adventuring party since the adventure began. The rest of the party is comprised of people found along the way as the party journeyed over the crown of the world. Everyone is level 9, and will be leveling up to 10 at the end of the next session (if they survive).

Jack Ravansky CG Human Rogue - native of Sandpoint. Romantically involved with Ameiko Kaijitsu. Wielder of the Suishen - the Amatatsu family sword. Ameiko is his world, and there isn't anything he wouldn't do to keep her from harm. He is brave and reckless and briefly had a few ranks in Barbarian... As his relationship with Ameiko grew he became a little more careful and tactical - retraining back to full rogue levels.

Dareth LG Suli Shining Knight Paladin of Iomedae. He was rescued from the dungeon of Brinwall (where Kendra Oxcutter would normally have been found). Had made an oath to protect the party on their quest after praying to Iomedae to make sure it was a noble quest. Died briefly while fighting Katiyana in the Storm Tower, but was resurrected a couple months later while in the Arctic town of Ul-Angorn. Dareth rides a Griffin Mount named Lightwing.

Nartuk LE Samarsan Witch of the Northern Bear Tribe. Nartuk joined the party as a Winter Witch - hired to help east the passage across the Crown of the World. Recently he was attacked by a brain sucking aberration that would have killed him had he not performed a ritual he had just read about in a recently discovered mysterious grimoire. The ritual saved his life - but it also turned him from a winter witch into a warlock archetyped witch (Cartmenbeck Lab 3rd Party). He has secretly been trying to corrupt the paladin and make him fall, but other than that, he keeps his evil thoughts and wishes quiet. Is currently in control of one Yamabushi Ninja and one Permanently Enlarged Advanced Troll - both of whole had recently tried attacking the party.

Eizwald N Middle Aged Dwarf Construct-Craftimg Wizard. Recently joined the party after helping fight off an Atamahuta Oni along with 4 Yamabushi Ninjas. The party's last wizard had traveled as far as he planned to go (Getting away from Iqaliiiat) and had convinced this crumudgeon to lend a hand and get the party safely to Minkai. The fact that he had gifted a stone golem to his little niece for her birthday - and she has been terrorizing the torn of Uk-Angirn ever since made his departure from town a bit of a necessity as well.

Felix Forestborn N Human Ranger. The most recent addition to the party (just this last week), Felix has been quietly stalking/jokingly terrorizing Shalelu Andosana (one of the campaign's NPC's that travels with the party she is a scout/ranger). He has been teasing her from hiding spots while she hunts. Leaves notes for the party when she is not around, and has managed to save the party's neck a couple of times while simultaneously belittling the elf ranger for being absent when her party needed her.
When a group of 3 Bulettes attacked the caravan, he finally revealed himself and said he was heading their direction anyway - and they seemed to need his assistance. Shalelu is pissed and grumpy for being shone up - but the party is impressed with his abilities.

In my Rise of the Runelords game (spoiler alert):

Current Party

Kazi Rose, LG half-orc paladin of Shelyn. Formerly of Magnimar, where a very bad situation left her with myriad scars, many of which are now incorporated into tattoos. Very dedicated to Shelyn's ideals of redemption and inner beauty. Came to Sandpoint with her rescuer and adopted mother, a Shelynite priestess, for the dedication of the new temple...then goblin-related hijinks ensued. Now back in Sandpoint after a good while away, enjoying a good deal of renown for her slaying of the red dragon assaulting the town and reveling in the soft, multicolored radiance of her newly blessed glaive.

Shar, LG human paladin of Iomedae/brawler. Formerly a peasant in the Mushfens, inducted into Iomedae's service rather informally through a near-death experience and a vision that led him to Sandpoint in time for the Swallowtail Festival. Self-sacrificing to a fault; pioneering techniques of double-shield combat to make him an impenetrable shield wall. Has spent the last several days hardly leaving Ameiko Kaijitsu's company (though nothing's official yet).

Maximus Richardson, NG half-elf sniper slayer. A member of the Pathfinder Society who came to Sandpoint as a bodyguard for one of their researchers, Lanliss (see Obituaries/Retirements). Quickly became the darling of the group among Sandpoint's younger female residents, leading to strained relations at the Vinder general store for a time. Switched between a longbow and Nualia's adamantine bastard sword for a long time, but now experimenting with the raw power of thrown elven curve blades, hearkening back to the elven father he hardly knew. Now engaged to Shalelu Andosana.

Sanguine (formerly Kriger Elefson, see Obituaries/Retirements), NG tiefling skald. A member of the Pathfinder Society and a contact of Alexite Crispin (see Obituaries/Retirements). Took current name after being reincarnated below Skull Crossing, a reincarnation tainted by the remains of the pit fiend killed there. Significantly more dour after said tainted reincarnation, though his newfound faith in Shelyn due to Kazi's counseling and evangelism has brightened his outlook somewhat. Currently holed up in the party's manor, spending his time bouncing between blessing Kazi's glaive and composing lays of the party's adventures.

Sky Whisperer, NG Shoanti human life shaman. A Shoanti spirit-talker of the Shundar-Quah, a serene man blessed with healing powers through his communion with the spirits. Left the Storval Plateau to try and discover the cause of the strangely heavy rains with his highly loyal horse and his totem animal, an oddly intelligent owl. Met the party in Magnimar as they prepared to set out for Fort Rannick and joined forces. Came to Sandpoint to help with its defense (and to see the Thassilonian ruins there, similar to those his clan reveres). Traveling to Jorgenfist will be going home for him.

K'vothe, CG human unchained rogue. Captured by the Graal family and held in their barn while attempting to find hints of his family's murderers. Very attractive, and very aware of it; being without a prestidigitation spell after a fight would be a tragedy. Very crude sense of humor; Shayliss Vinder was less keen on making his acquaintance when he told her of his (fictional) venereal affliction. Doesn't see quite eye-to-eye with Kazi and Shar when it comes to returning possessions whose owners are known. Acquitted himself well in the fight against the giants in Sandpoint, and now roves outside Sandpoint rooting out the last remnants of the invasion.

Obituaries/Retirements

Lanliss, LN/LG elf investigator. A researcher for the Pathfinder Society who came with bodyguard Max to observe the Swallowtail Festival as a cultural event. Little given over to social niceties; very given over to complete, total, and often offensive honesty. Resented Aldern Foxglove for addressing him as a "lackey" of the beautiful priestess Valeria (see below), and started several rude comments through the local rumor mill. Died in the tunnels through the hedge surrounding the Thistletop Fortress in a sacrifical last stand to buy everyone else time to escape. Arrived in Heaven very confused as to why all these goody-two-shoes angels were in the same place he had ended up. Lives on as an echo in his companions' minds whenever Foxglove's name is mentioned - I told you so...

Alexite Crispin, NG Chelaxian human arcanist. Originally of Galt, then Andoran; joined the Pathfinder Society in hopes of someday becoming powerful enough to unlock the secrets of the final blades and free his parents' souls. Sent to Sandpoint to join in Lanliss's research; very disappointed to hear that his coworker had died only two days past. Joined the party to make another foray into Thistletop and nearly died crossing the bridge to get there. Highly self-confident, and trusted magic as a solution to near everything. Including getting into the basement of the Seven's Sawmill - his subsequent magical leap back out went awry, and he ended up in the river with a ruined spellbook and a very bad mood. Retired to the Magnimar Society lodge to regroup and rebuild his spellbook, though he remains one of the group's contacts.

Valeria Baradin, NG Chelaxian human cleric of Milani. Formerly of Egorian, Cheliax, where her family plots to take down the diabolist Thrune hierarchy. Sent to recruit other worthy souls to her family's cause; ended up in Varisia in time for the Swallowtail Festival. Joined with the party in hopes of recruiting them to the revolt in Egorian. The object of "His Lordship"'s lustful attentions (quite unwanted even before they turned murderous). Retired in Magnimar after defeating Xanesha to return to sending allies to Egorian, and put in contact with the Freedom's Edge faction of the Pathfinder Society by Alex.

Kriger Elefson, CG Ulfen human skald. A member of the Pathfinder Society and a contact of Alex. Sent to join with the party to defeat Xanesha after Alex's mishap; stayed for the great stories this was all making. A beloved figure in Turtleback Ferry, where he made quite a splash the first night in town with his grand storytelling and generosity. Later renowned as the one who drove away the fearsome Black Magga. Killed by a scrag beneath Skull Crossing; his spirit lives on in the tiefling Sanguine, the person he became upon his reincarnation by Sky. In keeping with Ulfen tradition and to give his family closure (and a bit in shame of his new shape), Sanguine considers Kriger dead, and the mourning in Turtleback Ferry was deep.

Catisel, CN human rogue. Found in the dungeons beneath Thistletop and rescued. An inveterate opportunist, and ruthlessly practical despite his general good nature. Retired after a disagreement with Shar and Kazi in the Sanatorium, where he cut the throats of the unconscious patient and guards as the party, unknowing and intending to let the guards free and make other arrangements for the patient, confronted Erin Habe downstairs. Now in the employ of the Scarnetti family, and one of those responsible for evacuating the people of Sandpoint through the tunnel beneath the Glassworks during the giant invasion.

Lanliss, Alex, Kriger, and Sanguine - all the same player. Astoundingly unlucky, to say the least.

Anyone else?

What party members are people planning for Strange Aeons? :D

CN Young Adult Ratfolk, lvl3 Urban Druid/lvl1 Alchemist
LG Young Adult Human lvl4 Paladin
N Young Adult Human lvl4 Slayer
CG Adult Tengu lvl4 Samurai

Playing Hell's Rebels.

Lotta Eihinar (Female NG Halfling Hunter 5)

Lotta is mine. She stays at range with spells and slingstaff, while her velociraptor companion Gryg is the party's main melee fighter. We've been dealing with Technology Guide stuff, and Lotta is totally out of her element. I love it.

Sorrolon Maldovets (Male LG Half Elf Paladin 1/Arcanist 4)

(White Mage arcanist, I think. Can't remember how Sorrolon actually does his arcane healing. It's possible I'm misremembering and he's actually a standard wizard who got his healing powers from some other source). Our charismatic classic explorer-adventurer; Sorrolon is face of the party, healer, and standard wizard(-ish) guy. He says he's going eldritch knight.

Davros Gisan (Male LN Human Investigator 1/Occultist 4)

Makes all the knowledge checks; Davros is half of the adventure-duo with Sorrolon. He's the only one of us with any clue what he's doing when it comes to anything high-tech that isn't a gun.

Meli Santsis (Female CG Gnome Kineticist 5)

Phytokineticist; Meli has hero-syndrome, but got mixed up in high-tech adventures as a nature-focused character. Since I'm playing a nature-focused girl myself (and as the party's fellow small-sized character) I sympathize with her plight.

Sayn Raand (Male N Android Unchained Rogue 3/Gunslinger 2)

We found Sayn in our first dungeon. He has no memories, but proved pretty handy with a blade, and was willing to stick with us and help out since he had nowhere else to go. He picked up an electric gun recently, and is the second member of the party who has started to figure out tech stuff, though less broadly than Davros.

Party I'm a part of for our group's Carrion Crown campaign:

Adrian Draclau: NG Male moroi-born dhampir (svetocher) inquisitor (kinslayer) of Pharasma
A dhampir fortunate enough to be born under the blessings of pharasman priests, Adrian's mother amazingly survived his birth and now due to the kindness of others he seeks to aid the living against the horrors of the undead.

Sonja: LG Female human (ulfen) paladin (oath against undeath) of Iomedae
A human woman paladin of Iomedae, she was orphaned at a young age by a vampire spawn attack on her family and was raised by her grandfather, himself a renowned Knight of Ozem, to be a valiant protector of Lastwall.

Artorius: LG Male human (taldane) cavalier (ghost rider)
A disgraced member of a noble family from the nation of Taldor, this stalwart yet distant knight of Lastwall belongs to the Order of the Shroud yet rarely speaks about his painful past (which began when his beloved father's slain steed appeared to him one night).

Siulajia: LG Female (ulfen) oracle (life mystery)
An achingly beautiful woman possess potent divine healing powers and claims to occasionally hear the voices of angels but has a tendency to speak in a strange tongue that sounds like heavenly music when in periods of stress or combat.

Shaela: CG Female rakshasa-spawn tiefling (beastbrood) sorcerer (rakshasa bloodline)
Though exotically beautiful, she was born as an outcaste member of society in Jalmeray, Shaela quickly learned to survive by embracing her inherit magical ability she inherited via her fiendish ancestry. She despises those that discriminate against others.
