I just received this little gem in my in-box from an impressive young lady I met while GMing at Gen Con last summer. This is the message Katana posted to one of their school's club forums.

Hi!

My name is Katana XXXXX and I am the founder of XXXXX High School's table top game club in XXXXX. Last Thursday (March 31st) we had 3 amazing GMs come in and teach how to play 17 people Pathfinder. I came in contact with our local Venture Lieutenant, David Frahm, through a extremely help full Pathfinder GM that I met at Gen Con, Daniel G. Knipfer (The Usual Suspect). Through numerous emails over this past month David helped me find 2 amazing GMs, Jay Sigler and Sam King, as well as helped us choose and prepare a campaign from the beginner box. Last week our club held our Pathfinder event (March 31) and it went extremely well. David, Jay, and Sam ran 3 groups filled with entirely people that had never played Pathfinder, or for that matter a RPG, before. They handled the high schoolers extremely well and were excellent teachers. The next day I asked kids from other groups how their session went which caused a flood of stories to fall from their mouths. Needless to say they all had an amazing time and I expecting a ton of requests for another Pathfinder day.

To thank these amazing men for all of their help we posted bios about them on our website in our Guest Gamer section:

XXXXX

While I don't think this is enough to express our gratitude I do hope they can truly understand what an impact they've made on these kids.

I just wanted to let you know that you have some amazing people working for you! Keep up the flawless work

Katana

Katana was at my table along with 3 friends and 2 parents for True Dragons of Absamom. They were absolutely a laugh riot to GM for. I have never had so much fun running a table at a convention. The fact that it was 4 teenage girls and 2 of their fathers made it all the more amazing. I so rarely see that many highly enthusiastic female gamers in one group, even at conventions. Thank you Katana for making Gen Con so much fun for all of us GMs.

Well just so you know Katana ("A fashionably late 5"), Rowan (the psychotic trap making kobold...don't do trust falls with her) and Libby (the one who tossed me into the sewer pond...you're still on my list for that one!) have been working on something special just for you. Muahahahahahaha. Errr...I mean, hopefully we'll be able to get it to you this summer.

Thanks again for having such a positive and lasting impact on my daughter. It's been a lot of fun to see what has come from our encounter last year.
