Master of Many Styles + Combat Style Master Feat??

Advice

Combat Style Master (Combat)

You shift between combat styles, combining them to increased effect.

Prerequisites: Improved Unarmed Strike, two or more style feats, base attack bonus +6 or monk level 5th.

Benefit: You can switch your style as a free action. At the start of combat, pick one of your styles. You start the combat in that style, even in the surprise round.

Normal: It takes a swift action to begin or switch your styles.

this text seems to assume that you can only have one style feat active at once. and the "normal" clause states that it's a swift action to begin a style feat, implying that the benefit would make activating a style feat a free action. am i correct in thinking that?

benefit states that i can 'switch' styles but not activate a new one as a free action? i'd assume that the spirit of the game would allow me to activate several styles at once as a free action. but i don't want my GM to think i'm stretching it too far.

whatya think?

MoMS gets their multiple styles up by switching styles and letting the prior style persist. So you start combat in one style, and then on your turn with this feat you use free actions to activate new styles until you're done.

GM is free to impose arbitrary limits on how many free actions you can take in a round, but I think 3-5 is usually safe.

Depending on how much you need your initial swift action, or if you want to use different styles during and between turns, could be worth it.
