Core rulebooks don't fall apart. They just get passed down to your younger sibling.

...they just get glue marks from security stickers, broken spines, ripped pages, drooled-on pages, smeared from too much greasy food...

They don't fall apart. Not unless your hard drive crashes really spectacularly, leaving shrapnel in the ceiling.

Core Ruleboooks don't fall apart. But the only way to tell apart the PF CRB from the AD&D PHB and the VtM2R core book under all those bandages is because the PF CRB is thicker.

Oh, look, extra thick anniversary Vampire and Mage books...

my printed CRB has heavy duty clear tape on it and, well, has seen better days. Really spine to cover page issues... binding is still good. My ADnD hardcover is in better shape though it has similar DIY treatment. Yes - I think the total page weight is somewhat to blame.

The outside and insides of my CRB is held to gather by the power of duck tape, Do Not Under Estimate the Power of The Duck Tape!

Duct tape is like The Force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it binds the universe together.

I had duct tape fail me two days ago... is the force weakening?

I have co-workers younger than this one....

some spray 77 adhesive will renew the power of your duct tape... just with great sticking power comes great responsibility not to get it everywhere...

with great sticking power comes with whatever else you were working on. For life.

Oddly, my only Paizo book that's physically fallen apart is Gods and Magic, not the Core Rulebook. And that happened relatively early. I guess my copy just wasn't put together very well.

They don't hold up to dogs. My first CRB was utterly destroyed by my dogs. It looked like confetti all over my living room floor.

The Exchange

They just become platforms for duct tape rennovations!
