Pathfinder Newbie

Beginner Box

Hello, I recently picked up the Pathfinder beginners Box and read through everything numerous times. Its been a long time since I last played any pen and paper RPG (almost 20 years), so i consider myself a newbie. As I said before, i picked up the beginner box, wanting to get into rpgs again. My question is, is the beginner box suitable for only two people playing (a DM and a PC) or is is recommended to have more? Ideally I'd like to get a reasonable understanding before I join any groups or invite outsiders in. Also, where would be a good source of 1 on 1 adventures for pathfinder? Sorry this is long-winded. Thanks in advance.

My husband and I played through it with two people when we first got ours, and it worked out just fine. More is going to be better, since the game is designed around four-player teams, but we did all right, especially if you tone down some of the multiple-creature encounters. I don't have the box in front of me right now to say exactly what I changed, but it was usually along the lines of just dropping one combatant to avoid overwhelming him. If you're going this route, I recommend using the fighter - he's the sturdiest, so he has the easiest time of it.
