Familiar Folio feats: All taken by the caster or am i derping?

Rules Questions

Ok, i could have sworn some of the familiar folio feats could be swapped out by the familiar , but everything i'm looking at is taken by their humanoid. Am I derping now or did i derp back then?

Some of the Animal Archive stuff can be taken by a familiar. Familiar Focus and Extra Item Slot, for example (there is a short list on the d20pfsrd familiar page). Don't know if Familiar Folio added anything.

edit: Familiars only get the feats that the base form has before becoming a familiar, plus anything another rule (such as an archetype) gives them, and indeed Animal Archive allows familiars to take feats by swapping out the default (i.e. base form's) feats when the caster first acquires the familiar. This applies to feats "that are meant for familiars". I don't know what that means, unless it means "Prerequisite: Familiar" or descriptive text that mentions a familiar, which would not allow a familiar to take Extra Item Slot.

Starglim has the right of it I think. The feats that can be taken by familiars are oddly in animal archive and not familiar folio.
It does say in the start of the familiar folio that you can swap out feats for your familiar that it qualifies for such as those in the animal archive.

edit: i read it as familiars being able to use extra body slot feat if they don't have a humanoid shape. if they do have humanoid shape they don't need it in the first place.

Thank you.

anytime haha.

Most of the time for non-organized play I allow my players to choose pretty much any feat the familiar meets the pre-reqs for. I have yet to regret it. :)
