Years before I started working for Paizo, I started a tiny game company called Pantheon Press. We made a couple of d20 products right as Pathfinder was becoming its own thing. We then decided to go our own way and create an original RPG system.

And boy, did we ever. Fortune's Fool ditches the dice and uses a Tarot deck as its resolution system. Its set in a fantasy version of the European Renaissance, where elves, dwarves, and orcs abound and magic still influences everyone, from merchants to princes.

While it wasn't a runaway hit, it was pretty well received by a few fans and we won a Judge's Choice ENnie in 2011. We have since released a full campaign that pits the Brothers Grimm against one another, a supplement that expands options for players, a supplement that explores the far-flung Hindustan, and numerous free products containing mythical magic items that range from Mjolnir to Santa's sack.

You can read more about all that at our wesbite.

But if you don't have time to read, why not listen to a podcast? I was recently on Game School to explain the game's mechanics and run a short, sample adventure. It was a lot of fun and if you choose to listen, I hope you enjoy it!

I ran a Fortune's Fool one-shot at PaizoCon last year, and I plan to do this same this year. If you'd like to take the system for a spin, sign up when that becomes a thing that you can do!

Also, feel free to ask me any questions right here!
