Combat Reflexes and armor

Rules Questions

Sorry if it is obvious but I would appreciate your help:

Does the maximum dexterity bonus of an armor reduce the number of attacks of opportunity a player can do with the Combat Reflexes feat?

To be clear, a DEX 14 player with Combat Reflexes and a Masterwork Full plate, how many AoO can he do, 2 or 3?

Thank you.

Maximum Dex Bonus: This number is the maximum Dexterity bonus to AC that this type of armor allows. Dexterity bonuses in excess of this number are reduced to this number for the purposes of determining the wearer's AC. Heavier armors limit mobility, reducing the wearer's ability to dodge blows. This restriction doesn't affect any other Dexterity-related abilities.

As you see, the armor's maximum bonus applies to Dex-to-AC, not anything else.

Armor Maximum Dexterity Bonus only applies to AC. 3 attacks.

Thank you very much.

You also have +3 to initiative, +3 to your reflex save, +3 to hit with ranged attacks, and so on. The penalty only affects AC.
