So background, at 25 I unlocked the rare achievement of hereditary allergy to alcohol. (Weird I know but 7% of allergies develop late in life and happened to my dad around the same age). So my coworkers like to bother me about it a lot. They do things like buy profiteroles (belgian alcoholic cream and chocolate pastries) in the staff room. Invite folks out to drinks and then ask if I want to come anyway. They don't understand how someone can live without alcohol been doing it for 7 years now. It's my normal and somedays their teasing just drives me a bit crazy.

I guess if they found out someone was newly diagnosed as diabetic, they'd think it was funny to keep bringing in sugary sweets to share? There's teasing, and then there's being a dick*. Your co-workers are being dicks. You have my sympathies.

No, no, I get it. No offense taken.

My favorite comic as a kid was this one where a group of rabbits gets their paws on a cache of heavy weapons and decide to stick it to the farmer.

Don't remember what it was called, but I loved it.

Well, my job turned out to not be a job ....sigh

Oh well, its a great day to have off

As for favorite villain I would have to say The Joker. I always loved him.

I wasn't allowed to read comics because I'm a girl.

I never had cooties until I bought them with my allowance at a yard sale.

I just read my brother's comics.

But even then I wasn't really into comics.

Not even horsey ones?

I might have liked comics, but somehow I was never exposed to them. At all, really. RPGs yes, comics no.

This question is impossible for me to answer. It'd be like me trying to answer which oxygen molecule is my favorite.

Death, the woman for whom both men and women die just to see her once again.

Happened to be the longest lasting background picture I had. And as far as I can recall the only non-default background picture I bothered to set on my desktop. At least I can't think of any other case of me setting background picture.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite anything from comics. There's just stuff I like and follow regularly and stuff I don't. I will say I enjoyed the

Spoiler:
death of blue beetle
in Infinite Crisis. It was an amazing and fitting end for the character, the characterization was perfect. He remains one of my favorite heroes. I also loved the morlocks mini series, it is a true delight. The destroids mini series from academy comic back in the day was also a true favorite something about the story really appealed to me and got me writing seriously for the first time. I also truly enjoyed the first few issues of blood syndicate, but it was the first issue of green lantern mosaic that got me deep into philosophical comics. I think it would have lasted much longer as a vertigo title. Most green lantern fans, especially white ones, were not ready/able to fathom the ideas brought up in the book.

When it comes to manga I am a bit more sterotypical, if dated. I love Ranma 1/2, like lum, and don't care for inu yasha. I also love bastard!!, I will never forgive viz for not putting out the remainder of the series. It goes without saying I love gundam, but universal century only, not the wing, seed, 00 and other nonsense that has been pUT out. Although my best friend loved bubblegum crisis, I love everything else by the character designer, and own all of gunsmith cats and cannon god exaxxion. I would love to meet him and get his autograph. I also love gundream/gunnm/battle angel alita. I would love to get his autograph as well, I own all of the series.

Don't like 'em, and it's my thread.

Been an interesting day. Slept eight hours. First time in a month that happened.

Went to the doctors, got some rather depressing news (nothing serious, just kind of annoying)

Now I have to go get blood work tomorrow morning so no food.

On a good note I am poised to get my gardens finished up, and I might be on the cusp of starting a second Planescape game.

Hope it's nothing too troublesome, Patrick. I'm about at my limit for doctor visits, me.

The swelling in my finger has gone down a lot, but now it looks something like a crinkle-cut fry. :/

Oi, sorry to hear that Pat.
I hope it's nothing serious.

I've been getting lots of that from my doctor too. Nothing serious, but I can't seem to make time to actually do anything about it so 'it' will go away either. ;P

I might just buckle down and do what I need to JUST to stop going to the doctor every three months! :/

Glad your finger is 'going down' Treppa. Hope it gets better quick!
(I'm guessing that Crinkle-cut fry is better than it looked previously?) ;P

Original look was sort of this and it's now kind of this. But not so crispy. So, improvement. I guess.

Oh cheese!

I seriously need to stop posting at/after midnight.

I seriously thought that was actually a picture of your finger for a moment!
;P

(Yes, I should have known better,...) ;P

I'm going to bed now. Another long day at work tomorrow.

Good Night Treefortians!

Lol, sorry Rags! :D

You know that you have been hanging around Paizo too much when you start talking to your wife about certain things and you mention people's alias in conversation. She then says "They have real names." and I reply "That is their real name." oops.

At least nobody on the Paizo boards has a handle like "tittyblaster69" or something, because that would be awkward.

Although, now I must consider changing a certain name in my phone's contacts to "Anthropomorphic Badger".

I love the colorful clothes she wears
And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair
I hear the sound of a gentle word
On the wind that lifts her perfume through the air

I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's giving me excitations (Oom bop bop)

Close my eyes, she's somehow closer now
Softly smile, I know she must be kind
When I look in her eyes
She goes with me to a blossom world

I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's giving me excitations (Oom bop bop)
