Where will you be?

Wish you lived, or were visiting, Arkansas! We're gaming this weekend.

That sounds nice. Wish I were there, too.

My wife's brother live somewhere in Arkansas, they're more into moonshining then RPGs though.

So...LARPing, then?

John,

Firstly I'll be stuck away from home but still in Morgantown tending to my church secretary's dogs while she and her hubby go on a little vacation to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Now yes I could leave them alone...but they have a VERY old beagle that has a history of bladder problems and is pretty much in her twilight years.

The next weekend, May 4th through the 6th, I'll be in back end of nowhere that's kind of between Morgantown and Fairmont on a dirt road caring for a church members two boxers. They don't know me yet. I've only met them once. So...yeah.

Also wish I was in Arkansas. :p ;)

Arkansas is truly the Land of Pathfinder Opportunity.

Perhaps the problem is that you kill the potential players.

OK, NOW I want to see a reality show where the moonshiners settle their disputes (both in family and with competitors) the good old fashioned way.

LARP MASS BATTLES!

:)

Larp? Yarp.

hi everyone,

still under a crazy amount of work, so every free minute goes into the family and nothing is left for forums.

I hope you are all well and kickin'

Alive but kickin' is suboptimal at the moment.. lol

Doing okay, Aeglos. Recovering from a brutal 19 hour shift yesterday.

Ugh.. I forgot you had that monster shift. You ok today?

Still a bit tired, but okay since I'm off. :)

Oy. No sleep at all tonight. Brain wouldn't shut up. A new angle for this weekend's game popped into my mind and I couldn't sleep for working that into the plotline. I'll get a nap later today, I'm sure. But for now, oy.

Symptom of being creative. Feeling well rested right now.

Oy indeed.
Could be worse, you could be losing sleep because of worrying like my wife. :P

And when she worries, it is so stressful that it makes me grind MY teeth at night! o_O

May you, (And she!) both get well rested.
Soon! ;P

I wasn't worry about anything, just couldn't shut down. And I grind my teeth, anyway. All the friggin' time. It's related to my anxiety issues, according to my dentist, my doctor, and my shrink. So with that sort of endorsement I think they're right.

Leaving for work, now. Later.

Be careful out there! It's a big, scary world.

Someone is finally using one of the electric car charging stations that they installed here.

It's even scarier now that someone SHOT a good friend of mine and no one noticed until Tuesday. Admittedly he lived on a farm in a very RURAL part of Monongalia County and not that far from the PA border...but I'm sad, frustrated, angry and just in shock that people would do this to a very nice man.

This weekend will be interesting...especially since my church sectary has also felt the pain and thus I get out of dog sitting for Saturday evening and most of Sunday... So...yeah.

O_o

Did he survive?

Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Tom.

Oh noes. Our prayers and the best of luck to your friend!

So who's gaming this weekend? I'm running my homebrew tomorrow night. If my friend Mark doesn't derail the game (it's what he was put on this Earth to do) they'll run into a Vampire Drider and its Dwarven Vampire Spawn, created as it picked off miners one by one in the darkness beneath the Dwarven city of Berggunnar. Chills! Terror! Horror beyond imagining! (with Sanity checks, too!).

Jesus christ, I hope your friend recovers!

Hopefully, I'll GM after a long pause on Monday.

To answer everyone's question, No he did not. He was shot multiple times and bled out. They caught the people responsible (at least that's the word right now) But mostly it's the most senseless thing to happen to me (adjacently at least) in quite some time.

I'm saddened to hear that, Tom. His family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Damn.

Im glad the people responsible were caught, but this is a horrid, random loss.

Tom, I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. I have no words worthy of such a tragedy. We're all here if you need us.

Perhaps the rising insanity amongst the humans of this world is an indication that there are too many of us. :-(

I'm very sorry to hear that Thomas. I can only hope he's happier wherever he is now.

I'm not sure excess human population is the problem. More a lack of proper measures taken to deal with those on the fringes who abuse and misuse their abilities and talents. Anything beyond that strays into likely too political to discuss at this venue.

The Wife's Grandmother died today. She was 93.

While I'm not 100% emotional about it like I was when my dad died...it's a senseless thing and it really does make me wonder about humans...a lot.

So while I'm not depressed (any more than usual) I am upset...but not upset enough to warrant more than condolences for his family. Which now is his only son. I think there might be other members of his family, but with his wife gone, not sure there's that much left.

Also International Tabletop Day REALLY isn't the place to try and recruit people to play Pathfinder. Even if you set out pawns for them.

So very sorry for your loss. 93 is a long life and I hope she had a full one full of love, laughter, and blessings.

Sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences.

Edit: And a belated late sorry to you too Thomas.

*Offers man-hug to both of you*

I had a brutal 19-hour shift last Tuesday, but am now fully recovered. All because my employer doesn't have enough floaters to cover call-offs.

Ugh. Been there, done that.

I've been sick for about 10 days. Flu followed by bronchitis. I need to get my collective s#~@ together
