Just a thread for a few friends to hang out. Nothing important going on here, just gaming stuff and idle chatter.

The golden rule:

Feel free to post, if you wish. We are rolling with OG FAWTL rules here. No politics or subjects that stray into that realm. You will be warned if you post something in that nature. Refusal to stop will result in flagging.

So, I'm headed to GenCon. First time in my life, although I've wanted to go since 1980. I'm actually very excited, since I will be meeting up with a certain badger and possibly a dwarf. It's funny how if you make up your mind to do something and ignore the doubts that you find that the complications you were worried about seem to resolve themselves.

That they do! I think it's awesome that you are going.

Awwww. :(

Geez, CH, at least sweep up the feathers.

Of course I am excited to go to TotalCon as well in two weeks. I know I'm meeting a certain Orc there, but I'm not sure if my communist goblin friend will be attending. For a small con it's a lot of fun. The semi-final Iron GM tournament is always fun.

Silver Crusade

The feathers should stay until the new carpeting gets installed.

Me too! Be like Nike and Just Do It. That's my motto, and I've never done anything I regret.

Nope, nothing.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Foods out on the sideboard!

Treppa, BTW great job on the Silver PbP intros. I'm going to get my traits settled out and I'm looking forward to trying out the witch class

My only regret is waiting so long to have no regrets ;)

Oh, thank you! I was wondering if I'd flubbed things because people aren't posting.

Self-doubt sucks.

I did! You are the bomb-diggedy dire badger!

Can I come out of the crawlspace yet, Freehold said I could come out if I finished my fish heads.

Which were delicious btw, compliments to the chef.

By all means, hail and good cheer!

Urgh. Time to go to work. I'll likely check in at some point. I'm going to work on keeping my creaky PbPs revitalized. That and stop telling myself I'm no good at stats and rules. It's simple, I just need to believe I can do it

I imagine the experience you've had running games makes you pretty good at stats and rules. Plus, actually doing it makes you better at doing it.

Or so I've heard. :)

My weekly Wrath of the Righteous campaign had it's first fatality. The player was decent about it. I also am ordering my new Dwarven forge terrain this month but won't get to use in game for quite awhile. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Slowly, sleepily, but at least I started putting the monster for Monster For Hire contest on paper hard drive...

Thanks! And to you as well. :-)

I'm just glad to finally meet the Monkey I passed as having the most aliases. It wasn't easy either. :-)

Evil. I love it.

Shadow Lodge

I'd say I'll see you at GenCon, but I will be alternating between the PFS room and hibernating in my hotel room.

I'll be trying not to overcomm...

Who am I kidding? All my free time will be allocated two months before I get to GenCon.

Surely if TOZ is hibernating then TriOmegaZero will be around. :-)

Luckily as a n00b I'll likely have a lot of free time

And remember that in a friendly PbP, no one cares whether you know the rules.

Thankfully, I requested all afternoon slots off for just that reason.

And for naps. Naps are important.

It is a long process. You can have the title, I'm pretty good with the aliases ;)

True. But I'd like to know them better to be able to put some meat behind my homebrew stuff. I might take up PFS as a hobby

On the gaming side of things, can't say enough good things about The House On Hook Street.

I think it might be Paizo's creepiest adventure yet.

Ah another work day done. Now I just have to find a gas station since I was lazy yesterday and pressed for time today >.<

So status update. Bleys is home out of the hospital but he now has another lifelong issue to deal with.

This is one of the reasons, plus the blow up in the other threads, that I have not really been around.

Oh and the Main water line that runs under my driveway has been finished and my water is back on.

Are kobolds allowed in this tree?

Shoot, CJ. I'm pretty unaware of what's been going on since I don't keep up with the OTD much these days (to many people's relief), but I hope everything works out okay. Best of luck.

Sure thing man. It's a big tree. Just no shaking the branches too much ;)

But that's how I get the tasty monkeys to fall! :(

I mean, uh, you got it, man! I'll just stick to the lower branches.
