$56 dollars to my name. Every credit card maxed. Three jobs to manage.

Yet, I have never been happier. My heart soars like a Phoenix from the ashes of my past.

Awesome!

(Um, not the bills of course, but the happy part! THAT's Great!) ;)

There's a fly in my liquid diet plan.

I've been really happy with Soylent and am down to the last few bags, so decided to reorder. After all, I have another 5 weeks to go without chewing.

So I go to place the order and the powder, which is what I can afford, is backordered until October 25th.

Crap.

Yeah, it's not the end of the world, but soups leave me feeling hungry and all the protein shakes are so damned sweet that I would honestly rather not eat than subsist on them. They're sickening. Soylent isn't sweet and I am not hungry when I use it.

Not really anything I can suggest since I take Cellucor and Isopure, the latter having juice options if you get the RDTs but that is effing expensive.

have you tried ensure? There is a newer, less sweet blend that may work for you.

Back into Beantown

Rookie mistake: i didn't check the email before I left. No school today >.<

Gotcha! ;P

Has the powdered Carnation Instant Breakfast gotten any better tasting?

Edit: {googles} I wasn't even sure they still made it, but apparently they do. I guess now it's called Carnation Breakfast Essentials.

Yeah, there are plenty of protein drinks around, but they all taste like fruity or ice creamy shakes, and I really don't like that much sweet all day every day. I'll take a look at the less sweet Ensure and a client showed me an "instant meal powder" that looks a lot like Soylent.

I'd rather have something bland and tasteless to chug than a bunch of sickening milkshakes. Bluh.

I'm sweet enough as is.

Guarding the scientists again

Or at least their dozens of -80 F refrigerators

Treppa, how is the Soylent thing working out asides from the dreadfully long backorder? I've been curious about it as I find it rather appealing to simplify the domicile's foodstuffs once we eat out the ridiculous backlog of stores in the freezers.

Dawn breaks, and now is time for sleepies

Sleep sounds good...

The neighbor behind the wall stopped drilling but some sort of loud construction work still happens somewhere within my hearing distance. Or rather the echo distance.

Oh, wait, the neighbor goes back to drilling...

Got home yesterday afternoon aaaaaand I'm now at the airport.

I will have time at home someday. And when that time comes, wedding invitations really really really need to go out.

I quite like it. It tastes like thin pancake batter, but taste isn't the point. One packet of Soylent for $7 each day is quick to make and quick to drink. I feel full and healthy and the calories and nutrition are all done for me. A pitcher will last unspoiled for 2-3 days, so if you only want it for, say, breakfast and lunch and to eat a normal dinner, you can use the pitcher over 2 days. Or you can mix up individual meals one at a time with The Scoop.

It's easy. I'm lazy. We're the perfect couple.

Hate the mta.
So.
Much.
It took me over an hour to get to work. Over an hour to travel a distance it takes me an hour to walk.
I literally could have walked to work faster, and I took a bus and a cab.
I don't even care if I get written up, this was a truly ridiculous commute.

Sounds like you should walk... or better yet buy a bicycle so it would only take 20 minutes.

Edit: Or just use that flaming bike instead of throwing it. Think of the flashy style!

Yeah, Freehold. Howcome you never bike?

Back on the attack. Two jobs this afternoon. Driving a volleyball team to their destination and then back to WHOI for another round of 'which scientists left their labs unsecured ?'

I mean, absentminded? Or just terminally lazy?

And sweet Cthulhu's taint, the lights! My dad sense hits overdrive when I walk through those labs. I mean, c'mon, it's not your bill, but the place has a $3 mil/year electric bill! Help shave some pennies off that bizzle! More cash for hydovent exploration!

Anyway, it's still better than wrestling junkies.

I've been super busy with a bunch of freelancing assignments, some of which will see the light of day soon.

I know you are busy with everything getting pitched at you. Great job getting all that done!

I'm still working on getting my writing done, but sweet Asmodeus' third nipple it's hard to get the time together.

One happy note: my new job doesn't block websites. Including this one. Huzzah for science!

Squooshing up lunch now: Greek yogurt, a banana, 1/8 c peanut butter, 1/8 c brown sugar.

For tan goo, it is surprisingly tasty.

:) Awesome. Glad to come across people that have been using Soylent successfully.

That's all tasty stuff! If it doesn't taste good, blame the yogurt. ;)

lots of things. She needs new brakes, new tires, new everything. But I have found a bike shop willing to do all of the things I ask to her without wondering/ demanding I "just buy a new bike!". I am not far from my goal, and I should be up and riding by late October/ early November.

Parking lot parking lot.

Snip snack

Snarking lot.

Waiting for the HS women's volleyball team to finish up their game. It's a nice day out

I guess since I feel unmotivated homework wise it'll be a good time to update some PbPs

Guess it's not a stallion if it's a "she". Sorry to hear of her problems. I will wish for a clear, cool fall for your riding pleasure, not some slushy mess.

I don't know if Atkins Shakes would make a better porn name than Brooklyn Stallion.

Well, maybe it would work in California.. ;)~

Yeeg. Predawn in yet another parking lot.

Wondering whether I should set the Rappan Athuk-Slumbering Tsar war (including Splinters of Faith & Barrakus) during either:

1) Where Aroden kills the Whispering Tyrant

2) The Shining Crusade where Tar-Baphon is imprisoned.

So either super ancient & maybe lost or newer, but more relevant. Shining Crusade may work better with the 'Armies of Light' Vs. Orcus thing.
