It's ok, Grandpa. You are not that old. ~thinks~ Oh. Right. You are! ~RUNS~

Speaking of feeling old, a certain bit of information was imparted to me today which is making me feel old indeed. I am not supposed to talk about it, as it won't be formally declared for a while yet, but I'm sure you folks can keep a secret...

If I ever meet her I'm going to call her Lizzie Windsor.

(I can say that, assured by the extreme unlikeliness of such a meeting ever occurring.)

You say that, but about 15 years ago during my stint as temporary teacher the class I helped out in went to Oslo on a school trip, and during our visit to the Vigeland park, who should be strolling on the opposite side of the footpath accompanied by two bodyguards if not the Bloody Queen of England.

And felicitations Patrick!

Did they give up and decide to tell everybody, or did someone spill the beans?

I am feeling a bit more like myself.
First day this week I haven't coughed until i felt like retching, or broken out into a cold sweat without preamble.

Glad your feeling better!

I've been coughing/hacking a lot lately as well FH, Of course in my case, it;s likely due to the interaction with all of the soggy garage contents, the mold,(WHITE mold? REALLY?!? Where does this #$%^ come from?!?!?) :/ The dust/mildew from the wall panels and baseboards, etc, etc.

I'm fairly certain that that gunk has settled in my sinuses and lungs, and is making me sick. I'm not hack-a-lung bad yet, but I feel it trying! :P

I'm part of the sick crowd...

At least I can breathe today. Need to go run errands and get my tire patched. SO not feeling up to it.

You've probably been infected by a 5th Dimensional parasite. They have to compress down to fit in our dimension, and so always add a shit ton of mass.

Ragadolf wrote:
(WHITE mold? REALLY?!? Where does this #$%^ come from?!?!?)

White mold is a byproduct of certain manufacturing processes conducted in the secret factories run by the Venusian Lizardmen here on Earth. They decided it was easier to bring just a few machines and computers with them, then build all their invasion weapons here.

I checked the calendar to see if I have dentist appointment on Monday or Tuesday only to discover that my first dentist appointment is tomorrow morning! *sigh* I'd miss it if I wasn't asked by a friend if I have time on Tuesday evening...

Somewhere, somewhen, David Cronenberg gets a new idea for a Hamilton remake...

Glad you are feeling somewhat better. Hopefully the slaad larvae will hatch soon you'll be right as rain soon.

{whistles innocently, surreptitiously scatters more slaad eggs about the thread}

Thank you, guy in the next lane who told me my tire was flat (-tish).
Thank you, guy at the tire place who pulled out that screw and plugged the leak for free.
And for the guy who left the screw in the road... well, you know.

YOU! You don't know how many tires of mine ended up with screws in them... Your part of an evil screw conspiracy! And don't think Mass Effect will save you. I will show up dressed as the Bride from Kill Bill sword and all and go on a murderous rampage. :)
