Another unexpected fun thing: A former army buddy I used to play Vampire the Masquerade with back in the Nineties with (and who makes his living as a mercenary medic now) is in Indiana on leave. . It'll be great to see him

Oh and I agree with Treppa, you should have pre-registered for games first. Seminars are easy to get into at the last minute games are not.

It's all good. I have a game tonight. Plus I have a lead on some tickets for PFS games someone might be selling. I'll make my fun one way or another.

Plus, exhibition hall. Right? I mean a collector's kryptonite cavern. I got to work on my non-attachment skills. I do not need another book or ten.

Phew! Lots of walking today..

Frying sauerkraut sounds like a sort of heresy. It should be stewed with shredded fresh white cabbage, kiełbasa, bacon, and other meats, possibly a few dried mushrooms, and spices. Shame I can't send Dave some kiełbasa and fresh cabbage. It's rather cheap here.

Around here (Syracuse has a huge Polish-American population), the most common way you'll see kiełbasa served is either stewed or pan-fried with sauerkraut, bacon, and onions. Or sliced and served with sauerkraut on a bun, because it's America, and if it's sausage-shaped, it must be a hot dog.

I had smoked sausage last night, fried in a pan with Onions and Bell pepper + seasonings.

My family likes to eat it like fajitas, on a tortilla w/ sourcream and shredded cheese.

Not cheap, but yummy! :)

Looks like Catan! Hope you're having a good time. I got to playtest the Eve card game, which I thought was a blast.

As a western New Yorker, I can attest to all of this. Also, last week I pan-fried kielbasa and sauerkraut, so, yeah...

You can take the Rochesterian out of Rochester, but you can't take Rochester out of the Rochesterian.

On the hunt for a guitar again. Mr. Cort never replied, and many of the sellers are an hour's drive away. Found an Ibanez PC15WCNT for $45 this morning, about 15 minutes away, and am making arrangements to meet and check it out.

Fingers crossed.

Lol. I'll have you know, Mr. smartywizard, that I already owned that one and brought it with me in the hopes of getting it signed. So there :p

Honestly I can't be spending dough here. It's going to be a tight month..

Plus, I paid $15 for lunch. And it was worth about $3. Rassa-frassa shylock convention cooks..

Take the walkways to the mall and eat in the food court there, or try one of the local eateries.

It was s&%$ty bubble tea. Very sugary. I'm pretty sure it was from a powder mix.

That's what I get for cheating on you.

Don't listen to her, lucky. It's a trick.

You're not supposed to come into contact with the other drivers on the road. But you passed the test so you knew that already, I bet.

Still not as filthy-kinky as a proper game of Cones of Dunshire while drunk.
