I am slowly eating healthier too. Slowly. While mark can certainly note that I have had some fried foods on a special occasion, I have been using my BRAND SPANKING NEW RICE COOKER more, and today was fish and corn for lunch with cheerios and banana for breakfast(yesterday was much the same, but cheerios and two types of fruit for breakfast, fruit for lunch, and rice and vegetarian curry for dinner).

I'm not skinny yet, but I'm trying. I'm also going to the gym with mom more and have toned my weakness treats down to fit newtons (easiest diuretic you'll ever eat!) and no more than two mexicokes a day. That it. Beyond that it's water, tea, and fruit.

I am working an early shift for the second job today aND so I will be trying to make it to m2m to get some more curry for my rice cooker...

Is this your way of telling me you want to go out for poutine?

My roomie is out of town and I'm alone for the week, so I decided to run an experiment.

On the way home from dropping her off, I stopped at the grocery store and picked up all the stuff I crave but which I know isn't good for me. That's all I ate for 3 days.

At the end of 3 days, my hands, legs, and face were swollen, I couldn't stop sneezing, and my nose was running like crazy. Everything hurt and I could barely walk for pain. It was like a massive allergy attack or coming down with the flu, except pollens are really good right now and no flu is going around.

Yesterday, I ate nothing but a chicken, potato, and vegetable concoction I made at home.

This morning, no swelling, little sneezing, and walking is easy peasy.

Veddy interesting.

Maybe I just eat healthy enough already but I switched to an almost vegetarian diet for about 7 years (I allowed myself fish but not shellfish)... and NO change in my health. And when I switched back to eating all those juicy tasty meats I had been avoiding? Again no change. Well one BIG change, I was happier and relieved not to have to constantly fuss over menus.

GOOD MORNING TREEFORTNAM!!

Another day, pregnant with possibilities!

Get out there and grab a fistful of it!

I have a lot of respect for farmers. Just taking care of some livestock yesterday with watering and haying burned 7500 calories according to my FitBit. I am sore as a mother now. But Krav Maga calls, and since next week is GenCon (!!) I must go. No skipsies

Well the mother would probbaly not be as sore if you'd stop grabbing her pregnant tummy.

Meh.

I have no idea what to make of that post exchange.

Does Freehold need a lecture on not dismembering other treeforters?

The pregnancy grabbing is actually more disturbing.

Thankfully, you didn't have the fish.

{bandages a piece of BonChon chicken to bite wound} Take two bubble teas and call me in the morning.

Jerry Doyle a.k.a. Mr. Garibaldi died today. You will be missed. Thank you for such a wonderful performance on Babylon 5.

Got to bed past midnight... Woke up past 4 am... Got back to bed and woke up around 7 am... I got up done a few things (ok, played a bit) and then went back to bed to snooze. Got up at 9:30... Washed up and now I am going to dentist. Bleh.

Minor headache was on the horizon, pushed back with ibuprom... Still not good thing with all the incoming drilling and such. I expect that the afternoon won't be particularly pleasant.

Good luck, Drejk. I hope your headache goes away and does not come back.

Sorry to hear you are still having sleep issues Drejk.

Have you ever considered breathing techniques? Just a simple mantra helps me when I'm having trouble. Just breathe and say:

In, out
Deep, slow
Calm, ease
Rest, release

Focus on the words and breathe in on the first, breathe out on the second

GUTEN MORGEN TREEFORTNAM!

Good morning Adrian and everyone else.

Back to the Little Farm of Horrors today. *sigh*

I don't think I'll ever trust any 'local farm' products ever again. I know someone was selling these animals and claiming they were free range local organic. I'm damn close to going vegetarian anyway. If we have to treat animals like this to get meat, bring on the vat cultures.

~innocent look~ If that doesn't work, you could try a sledgehammer to the head. ~grins and runs~

GOOD MORNING SHAROTH!!!!

ROCKING FROM THE SHIRE TO THE MISTY MOUNTAINS!!!

My work day is almost over. I will be enjoying a three day weekend. During that time, I will be fighting my mutant killer crab grass. Sadly, the odds are in the crab grass's favor. ~looks at the odds~ 9000 to 1 against me? Oh snap.

~grins~

Are they selling Solyent Green at the farmer's market?

I hope that you have a good day and a great weekend, Adrian.

I will be playing some Minecraft this weekend and also setting up a new playthrough of Fallout - New Vegas, Skyrim, and XCOM - Enemy Within. Not going to do much more than that with them right now. ~thinks~ Oh yes! Laundry! I must do laundry and vacuum the house.

Spoiler:
I did not realize it was you Patrick. I thought it was someone else.

Great Wall disappearing brick by brick.

I would not mind a few callouts this weekend. I could use the extra money.
