Dave, how do you feel about drawing dragonborn?

Elton Rob is looking for freelance artists. It won't be a full job replacement but still might be a few bucks here and there to help with the budget.

So on the topic of sleep I've always known that when I'm overly exhausted my thought process slows down a bit. Not enough that anyone notices, but I notice.

So I took that online vocabulary test about 2 weeks ago. Scores 22430 or something close to that. Yesterday I got 7 hours of sleep for the first time in about 2 months. I took it again. 30,500.

So apparently I need to get more sleep when I'm writing. lol

Good to know you finally got some sleep. I was worried when you had been up more than 24 hours.

To quote one of my dad's co-workers, I think I've just about drank myself into a Bolivian tonight.

Damn. I am sorry my friend.

That sucks.

I think I might have landed myself a third job. It would be nice if I could get a full-time job rather than three part time ones, but it is only for anoth year until school is over anyway

Man. I didn't miss the hangover today *wince*

Hopefully I can shake it off before Krav Maga

So- NYC peeps. I will be in the city 11/6-11/8. I'm going to the Temple of the Dog concert in Madison Square Garden. If any of you rascals want to hook up, let me know. I'm thinking Sunday (11/6) I might do a few museum lookabouts. I'll be coming in Grand Central Station again

Oh and I'll be toting a friend along, but she's cool and geek-savvy

YOUNG JUSTICE WOOOOOOOOOOOO

Scarab Sages

I took a liking to the Legion of Superheroes animated series.

I knew about the others, but not about the Legion of Superheroes animated series?!? ;P

Is on Netflix? I didn't see it,... :(

(It was one of my favorite comics as a young kid. Don't know why. Just was. I guess because they were all 'young' like the early Teen Titans, and I thought [HOPED] I could be one?) ;P

Now I can't shoot Aberzombie during the zombie apocalypse.

Amazon Prime has season one for free. Season two is an extra $15.

Dragon Age: Awakening... Granted, I haven't played that many games, but I think this is the first time I've played an expansion that is significantly better than the base game.

Concidentally, Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition just appeared on GOG, DRM-Free... I admit a certain temptation, despite having a physical copy that I got as a birthday gift some five years ago. It has Awakening which I haven't played, and supposedly it does not require annoying log-in into the EA's servers.

*looks at the finances*

Ah, well, maybe other time. Added to wishlist, though.

It's almost 8 am and I am eating soup... What went wrong with the current world?!

Sorry to hear that. Good luck hunting for a new one.

Gah. Fell asleep early. Now wide awake at 4 am.

Nah I've got my six hours. In any event I am volunteering today at that animal abuse site. I have to get my stuff together

~winces~ Ouch! I do not know if I could do that. As a pet owner, I wanted to say thanks for doing that.

Yes, Thankies again Patrick. I don't even really know you, but thank you.

All I know is, I found my kid watching it one day. It was available from via Amazon.

That sounds about right. I recall the boy being pissed because mommy wouldn't pony up the extra dollars to get season 2.

I'll get you, my pretty. And your little teeth....

My roomie is out of town and I'm alone for the week, so I decided to run an experiment.

On the way home from dropping her off, I stopped at the grocery store and picked up all the stuff I crave but which I know isn't good for me. That's all I ate for 3 days.

At the end of 3 days, my hands, legs, and face were swollen, I couldn't stop sneezing, and my nose was running like crazy. Everything hurt and I could barely walk for pain. It was like a massive allergy attack or coming down with the flu, except pollens are really good right now and no flu is going around.

Yesterday, I ate nothing but a chicken, potato, and vegetable concoction I made at home.

This morning, no swelling, little sneezing, and walking is easy peasy.

Veddy interesting.

Well,... You SAID you knew it wasn't good for you! ;P

I am slowly eating healthier too. Slowly. While mark can certainly note that I have had some fried foods on a special occasion, I have been using my BRAND SPANKING NEW RICE COOKER more, and today was fish and corn for lunch with cheerios and banana for breakfast(yesterday was much the same, but cheerios and two types of fruit for breakfast, fruit for lunch, and rice and vegetarian curry for dinner).

I'm not skinny yet, but I'm trying. I'm also going to the gym with mom more and have toned my weakness treats down to fit newtons (easiest diuretic you'll ever eat!) and no more than two mexicokes a day. That it. Beyond that it's water, tea, and fruit.

I am working an early shift for the second job today aND so I will be trying to make it to m2m to get some more curry for my rice cooker...

Yeah, it was all stuff classified as "empty calories", but I was careful to choose food that I've never tested as allergic to. Yet all my symptoms were allergy/inflammation. I felt about 30 years older than my real age.

I'm starting to believe all those "inflammatory foods" sponsored links. It always looks like a bunch of hogwash, but the proof is in the pudding (which is inflammatory, by the way).

EDIT: Well, by golly!

Silver Crusade

Huh, leave it to a book called Horror Advenutres to actually make me interested in playing a paladin.

Wow. NetFlix has Sliders, Farscape, Jericho, Eureka, and the original Battlestar Galatica. Oh. They also have Freehold DM's most favorite shows ever. Dollhouse and Firefly. ~grins~

Yeah,

My AUnt (Several years ago now) wasn't feeling well, so she went in and the Dr tested her for allergies reactions. She came up positive on like 2 things (Corn and peas I think?) Said if she would avoid those, she should be fine.
2 or so days later, she was terrible (very similar to what you described above) Went in and was re-tested. Result? Yes. As in allergic to it all. :P
