i'm trying to make a familiar for a future character based on a prehistoric crocodile called Araripesuchus Wegeneri i'm not positive about what the stats should be but i'm basing it on the fox stats but sized up, added sprint, added natural armor and changed the move speed to 30 and swim to 20 and i'm wondering if this sounds good or if it's OP

The dwarf caiman may be what you're looking for.

problem is araripesuchus was a land croc and an omnivore so it would have much different stats

just to be clear this is what my croc looked like

What exactly would you want to change for this creature statistics wise? The only thing I could possibly think of would be changing it's landspeed to 20 and reducing it's swim speed to 20 to compensate? Its Str, Dex, Con, etc are reasonable for a creature of that size, and it's sprint ability seems like it fits. It's better than an upscaled fox, IMO. If this is for a home game your DM can help you work it out, of course, but if this is for PFS, there's no tinkering with stats allowed.
