Disarming bayonets

How do bayonets work with regard to the disarm combat maneuver?

You aren't holding the bayonet, you are holding the crossbow/gun. Does the bayonet detach when disarmed, or do you lose the entire gun/crossbow?

And, if you you lose the gun/crossbow, do bonuses to resist disarm that you may have for the gun/crossbow, also apply to disarm attempts against the attached bayonet?

I'd say the entire bayonet/gun (or crossbow) assembly is 'one weapon' for purposes of the Disarm manoeuvre, with your CMD bonus to keep your gun applying. Given how bayonets function, there's little reason to single them out for attack (especially as if you ruin the gun, you ruin the bayonet too -- you now have an improvised dagger).
