so I want to make a rocker caster, a musician who uses sound based spells to damage enemies.

Should I do skald or bard?

In general, I'd go bard for a concept like this... but skald does seem a lot more metal. In the end, I'd have to know about party composition before I made that decision.

Honestly, I'd rather go Bard to get the Thundercaller archetype. It makes you better at this sort of caster-focused playstyle. Lightning and inducing rages is pretty metal.
