Lately I've been unhappy with a lot of the extras in the Adventure Paths. I like the backstories. I like the illustrations. I also want to see them shortened or moved to be free downloads from Paizo. I would rather have that space taken up with something else. Handouts, stat blocks for templated monsters so I don't have to do it myself, some of the random lists similar to what you've been doing, etc.

Looks like we are pretty much on the same page. At the end of the day, one of the key goals of any module is that it should be easy to run. Doing many of the things you suggest--adding in more stat blocks, presenting handouts etc.--would be a great step in this direction.

What's the benefit to The Raging Swan Press in offering so many PDFs at such a discounted price? The bundle of PDFs being 95% of from what the cost they would otherwise be.

I'm in disbelief at such a discount, confused on how it plays out from a business standpoint.

Most of the products are older and just don't sell as well as the newer stuff because newer customers can't always afford the originals. This gives them a chance to own it all and they can introduce it to their groups. Those people will share it beyond the group and more sales will come via word of mouth.

These sales are not going to be common for any given company. It does help spread the word though. It's also good for helping consumers keep all the downloads from one site.

Bob has essentially hit the nail on the head. A lot of our older books only sell a copy or two in any given month because they are buried at the bottom of our tail. Doing such an epic bundle promotion enables us (hopefully) to reach lots of new customers and helps current customers to round out their collections.

To date the promotion has been wildly successful beyond my wildest dreams! Hopefully, people who have got the bundle feel equally happy with their side of the bargain!

I think that the 1000 abnormal skeletons is simple to implement and can be used for more than just skeletons. You can use the 3rd section to add some personality or quirk to intelligent skeletal undead like liches. You can also use it to spark a quest for low level characters.

Thank you Tusk and Bob. I've enjoyed writing the 1,000 series and I've got another one for you this week. Of course, if we added a fourth table I could call it 10,000 Abnormal X (which would be pretty cool).
