Casting Mnemonic Enhancer multiple times

Rules Questions

If you were to cast Mnemonic Enhancer twice, would that allow you to prepare 6 extra levels of spells?

Yes, but limited still to L3 or lower. 2 lots of 3 spell levels, no 4th level or higher spells.

If your GM wants to house rule it, then they can. However, very few people believe that wizards need any further benefits.

Oh, so the spell would never allow you, for example, to prepare a 7th-level spell by sacrificing a 4th-level spell slot? I suppose that is a lot more balanced than the way I interpreted it...

Yes each casting must be handles sepratly. So if you cast it 2 time each casting would get you 3 spell level each and not 6 in total so if you are trying to make all 2nd level it would be 2 second and not 6 since you could not save that 1 level and combin it with the 1st from the second casting.

You definitely wouldn't stack the effects for higher level spells.

Keep in mind another interpretation a GM may employee is to say the second one replaces the first one.

Quote:
Same Effect with Differing Results: The same spell can sometimes produce varying effects if applied to the same recipient more than once. Usually the last spell in the series trumps the others. None of the previous spells are actually removed or dispelled, but their effects become irrelevant while the final spell in the series lasts.
