No such item exists. Sorry to disappoint. ^_^

Well, a Ring of Free Action will remove paralysis as ONE of its many effects.

I suppose stripped down you could make one easily enough for a quarter to half the price.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Alternatively there is the Liberating weapon special ability from the Weapon Master's Handbook.

As a general rule a magic item that casts a spell at will costs [spell level] x [caster level] x [2,000gp]. That would be 12,000gp.

If the spell is only usable X times per day the price is divided by (5 divided by uses per day). 3 uses per day should be plenty for our hypothetical ring for a final cost of 7,200gp.

The magic item creation costs guidelines are pretty rough and ready, GM approval is an explicit part of the process, but 7,200 doesn't strike *me* as a crazy price.

I believe he meant a ring of freedom of movement, which is in the core rulebook.

Yeah, that'd work.

Yeah, it's hard to make those language shifts. I still keep using the old names for spells and magic items. Tiny Hut, Grasping Hand, and Efficient Quiver just don't sound right.

Leomund's Tiny Hut, Bigby's Grasping Hand, and Quiver of Ehlonna. There are lots of other ones that were also changed for copyright reasons. But 35+ years of habit is hard to break.

(Tenser's) transformation is the one I always found hardest to deal with, post-renaming.

Heward's Handy Haversack, Apparatus of Kwalish are a couple more

rary's mnemic enhancer.
Mordenkainen's Disjunction...and his Faithful Hound.

Bucknard's Everfull Purse.
Mantle of Celestian.
Shoes of Fharlanghn.
Most of the Artifacts refer to a person - Ring of Gaxx, Mighty Servant of Leuk-o, Machine of Lum the Mad, etc...

That Ring of Free Action will get me EVERY time, however. The quiver of Ehlonna is the most common thing to come up, I have to look up what they call it now...

Heward's Handy Haversack...

In my games, good old Heward still has the patent on those. With the money he made in the Realms, Grayhawk, and Eberron he was easily able to hire sufficiently powerful lawyer devils to enforce his rights in Golarion as well.

Everyone's favorite f7 t/8 bard/23 seems to be doing okay for himself, then!
