I have yet to see Beyond, but the plot summaries I've read suguest Krall doesn't care about Kirk personally either.

Nemo had a hate for the entire Federation, after all he killed billions, and was looking to kill billions more for a crime that would not happen for a century yet. In fact, he preferred killing them rather than make any attempt to change what had happened to Romulus.

He merely had special plans for Spock.

It would be wonderful to have John De Lancie to perform as Q. Why? Because Q is an omnipotent omnipresent being who transcends alternate timelines.

I would like to see what the JJverse would do with Trelane.

Dark Archive

I thought the movie was fairly nice. I felt like I was entertained enough worth the money at the theatre I went to ($7.50).

OPINION: Every has their opinion about what a Star Trek movie should be. Some people think it should follow the TV shows, others don't.
That does not matter. All forms of entertainment, be it TV, Movies, Sports, Books or whatever are here for one purpose only - To entertain you and make you forget about your troubles for a while.
If it does that, then it is good entertainment (even when it is bad).

Sure if you view ST from an entertainment only view point. Some folks enjoy good story telling, creative writing, and intricate plots and its perfectly ok to be critical of those elements. Just because ST is entertainment doesn't mean it gets an automatic C. IMO of course...

Was I the only one who found it strange to see a fight between a Narn (G'kar, B5) and a Zabrak (Darth Maul, SW1)...?

Sovereign Court

I'm sorry, what?

Hama,

I dunno but I suddenly realize something: IF We did get John De Lanice, Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor and Metron in a Star Trek Movie, it would be the most awesome cross over I can think of. ;)

I sort of believe that Paul Giamatti would be a great Harcourt Fenton Mudd

I want one where they go to a planet that just happens to be exactly like some period from Earth's history. My preference would be 1930s gangsters.

Patrick Stewart should play an old gumshoe that helps the crew out.

Mmm. Terquem might be onto to something!
