Looks like more disaster porn. Didn't see Adam Baldwin in the trailer. Sad. I'll probably wait for it to hit On Demand or a movie channel.

I enjoyed the first one. But it felt complete, not really seeking a sequel, and this trailer didn't convince me otherwise. It makes it look much more like "generic sci-fi invasion movie".

This. In a nutshell. You have encompassed my many and varied thoughts into a cohesive singularity.

The special effects should be a damn bit more awesome in this new one, at least.

Has it really ben 20 years? ugh.

All I want now is for the Will Smith replacement to shoot down an alien over orange county and then slug him when he tries to leave the ship.

I like unexpected sequels because it forces the film makers to ponder on the consequences of the previous movie. How is humanity now that it has alien tech, knows about alien existence (and threat), that nations had to work together to overcome these invaders. How did the world cope with the destruction of every capital city and the inevitable wastelands?

There's matter for an excellent film with that alone. Unfortunately, this will probably be hand-waved for more explosions and destruction...

What will apple be able to hack in this one?

Don't worry, we still have our telegraph wires available to spread the word on how to bring those sons of b@+@$es down.

Or, as with most Roland Emmerich movies, they'll just destroy shit and take care of deep thoughts with a few throw away lines. Huzzah for disaster porn.

New Trailer.

I'll be seeing this, but I may wait for streaming.

Agree with Joel, should have left this movie stand alone, as the awesome film it was, now we get a CGI disaster porn flick, errrr, no?!

Sovereign Court

Trailer looks nice. A spot of mindless fun and crappy humour. Gonna watch it in the movies for sure.

I feel like they missed an opportunity to call the movie Memorial Day. Especially since it seems to start off by recalling the heroic events of the previous movie.

I'll check it out with friends.

X-com: the movie.

I'll watch it, maybe even in the theaters.
