The first scenario in Adventure Deck 6 tells you to
At the start of the scenario, gain a medal on the troop Champions of Mendev.
We all know that you cannot gain rewards again. But this is in the During This Scenario section, not the reward section.
Does that mean that if you fail the scenario Onslaught on Drezen and repeat it, you will gain a second medal on the Champions of Mendev at the start? And if you fail again, you gain a 3rd medal at the start, and so on and so forth?

Actually I suppose the issue was more that the reward is supposed to be gained at the end of Herald of the Ivory Labyrinth/Redeeming the Herald, but Paizo refrains from referring in an AP5 deck card to a card only available in AP6 deck (and I think they are right to do so).
The intent here is obvious -- you should only gain the medal once. I have a feeling this will need the same treatment as Bikendi Otangu in S&S where it needs to be explicitly called out as a scenario reward.
I agree that the intent was most likely to you receive the medal only once, but it needs to be reworded to actually do that.
It could be "Gain your first Medal." or "If there are no Medals gained on the Champions of Mendev, gain one"
Or the gain a medal Medal could be on the "City of Locust" adventure path, hence when you start the path you receive the bonus.
But as written you gain a medal every time you start the scenario.

Yea, the Adventure is where it'd be best. It gets you starting with it, only happens once, and doesn't require putting it on a different adventure where it isn't possible.
I wouldn't even say it was "most likely" intended, it seems pretty clear that it wouldn't make sense another way. As written though, yes it's every time, but I'd say it's probably a situation where you look at it and go "OK common sense says that has a limit."
