Can you still purchase the Master of Trade prestige award? For PFS of course.

Liberty’s Edge faction PCs qualify for Andoran faction vanities and mission boons available in past seasons. Likewise, Dark Archive faction PCs qualify for Cheliax rewards, Scarab Sages as Osirion, The Exchange as Qadira, and Sovereign Court as Taldor. Without a boon that states otherwise, a PC cannot earn Sczarni vanities or boons.

This is actually really helpful. I recently returned to playing PFS more regularly and I was aware of the faction changes. I wasn't sure, however, what to do with my 8th level Qadira's prestige awards he purchased back in 2012. I has missed the above quote from the Guide. Thanks for pointing it out!

It's why Exchange is mechanically the best faction. I still only have had two people in it from my list of 20 characters, as I care about more than mechanics, but it is a sweet deal.

It's even funnier if you have it on a PC who isn't currently in The Exchange, like those who were Qadira but then left during a free faction change, or those who...

Spoiler:
Did some special favors for the Paracountess.

Edit - not for the Master of Trade boon, but for the Trade Prince/Princess boon, at least.

I've got two masters of trade. It's very good but the faction's always been a bore.

Indeed. Such as to the point of where I wonder why it is still a thing. A good set of storylines tied to a season meta plot would be a good place to start making it more interesting.

I think it would be more enjoyable as a bit more Sczarni and less Quadira, or if it tied into being an 'anti-aspis' faction on artifacts trade.

I agree. Even some kinda exotic wares bend would make it more interesting. Dealing with weird cargo and quixotic trade partners. Every TE mission I've played has involved baseline humanoids trying to haggle in a gala or event of some sort. It's a fantasy setting, dammit! Where's the flair?

Not that those haven't been fun to play, mind, but something's missing. Taldor led a crusade into Hell(I know, I know, same diff.). When do we outbid daemons in a soul trade or enter Goblin Market and try not to "[dwindle], as the fair full moon doth turn"?

Oooh, an expedition to Shadow Absalom would be perfect for this... :-)

Try to out negotiate a devil maybe? :P

Sorry to "necropost". Is this valid for Season 8? Thank you in advance.

Yes, nothing has changed with it.

Well, the wording about vanities that was still there in the Season 7 guide is missing from the Season 8 one...

The scarab sages half price res is pretty nice too: it means you don't need as much PP in the bank.

Spymaster from s.court is pretty awesome also :) 3-5 bonus to any skill for a whole adventure to basically a whole party?
