Would it be safe to assume our game will wrap before Gameday 5 starts?
GMG |
Korug: Table B will be finished by the time that GD 5 starts. Table A will not.
I will be running a GD 5 table, anything you would like to play?

I have a a couple friends that plan on GMing and we are trying to figure it all out. My plan is to get all my characters into a game so I would be more than happy to join a game of yours if I have any available.
I'm also considering my first attempt in PFS to GM. Seems like a good enough time to give it a shot.

I am currently recruiting for 7-00 the Sky Key Solution in tier 5-6, so if any of you want to participate that would be cool.
I am not entirely sure if I will offer more games in the first slot (until October 11th), I have room for one more but as of yet I have no idea which scenario that will be.
Great that you want to start GMing in PbP! Let me know if I can help you in anyway.

I will be at the GardenCon in Geneva from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th August, with little time to post. Four days of PFS, yay!
I'll try to check my games on the morning but please bot Heveel if needed!

I don't think you will mind that I rolled that ;-)
Table B Chronicles for Part III
Thank you for playing! I will close table B after the weekend.

That all looks good to me. Thanks for running.
It has been fun playing with you all!!

Hey, anyone know how to remove or hide campaigns in my campaigns tab?

Kivuli, there are several ways:
1) The GM can deactivate the campaign (I will do that for table B tomorrow);
2) A campaign is deactivated as soon as it it 3 months since the most recent post in the gameplay thread;
3) If you click on the messageboards link and click on "Focus" (to the right of "Messageboards" you only get the threads that you have looked at (including the ones you posted in). Now the only thing left to do is click on the ∅ to the right of the gameplay thread of the campaign you want to hide.
Hope this helped

@GM, I'm not clear on whether I can perform more than one Deed per round. Is it possible to use Dodging Panache in the same round as OP&R? Can you clarify, please?
Dodging Panache (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent attempts a melee attack against the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet; doing so grants the swashbuckler a dodge bonus to AC equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 0) against the triggering attack. This movement doesn't negate the attack, which is still resolved as if the swashbuckler had not moved from her previous square. This movement is not a 5-foot step; it provokes attacks of opportunity from creatures other than the one who triggered this deed. The swashbuckler can perform this deed only while wearing light armor or no armor, and while carrying no heavier than a light load.
Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature's result, the creature's attack automatically misses. The swashbuckler must declare the use of this ability after the creature's attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach. This deed's cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the number of panache points a deed costs.
Highlighted relevant bits
You have 1 immediate action each round (and it eats your swift action for the next round)
You normally have 1 attack of opportunity (combat reflexes can change this)
Therefore you can either Parry (AoO) and use Dodging panache(immediate action) which costs 2 panache in total OR
Parry (AoO) and Riposte (immediate action, only if Parry successful and you have at least 1 panache remaining) which costs 1 panache in total.
Timingwise it is my opinion that this is the order:
1) Opponent declares attack
2) You declare Dodging Panache (or not) and you declare Parry (or not)
3) Opponent rolls attack
4) You Parry (if declared)
5a) If Parry is successful you can declare Riposte if you have the immediate action and at least 1 panache remaining. If you do so, roll the riposte attack and damage against enemy
5b) If Parry was unsuccessful damage is rolled against you
If you declare dodging panache you can not subsequently riposte since you have used the immediate action in 'step 2'
Hope this helps, please ask if anything is unclear.

Yup, very helpful, thanks.

Sorry for my absence these days, I'm moving out and planning our wedding at the same time. I'll be back tomorrow.

Just a little head's up to let you know that the next days (until Monday evening) will be hectic for me.
I'll try to post at least once a day but I'm not sure to make it. Please bot Heveel if you need to.
GMG |
Thanks Heveel, I think the other 3 can come up with a plan what to do on day 4

PM sent to Belina. Another of her aliases posted on Wednesday so hopefully she's okay and just busy with RL.
Heveel Ash'maïm |
Hi there! Just a heads-up to say that I'll in holidays in London this week-end, thus unavailable to post :) See you Monday!
GMG |
Jinny, I have left your day job earnings open. You can roll them here and insert them.
Heveel, Timmon and Belina, I assumed you still have no day jobs.
Please let me know if I need to correct anything, scenario has been reported and I will shut down the campaign in a week's time.
If you celebrate them: enjoy your Christmas' holidays
Happy new-year to you all and happy gaming!

Indeed, no dj for Heveel. The chronicle's fine, thanks a lot.
I wish you good holidays as well!
