Boon conjunction confusion

I've come across a few different boons now that include "this boon may be used in conjunction with other boons to grant one or more of your characters with [race]-related options."

Can someone please explain what this does? The race boons already give access to things related to that race, and I can't think of what else this could do.

It means you can get [race C ] but you have to use one race A and one Race B

I think he's actually referring to boons on chronicle sheets, rather than the GM Race boons.

There's a specific one on an early season 6 chronicle that I remember. As far as I know, these haven't paid off yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't until even next season.

This is a common misconception, and isn't actually true.

I think he is referring to the Xenophilia and Xenophobia boons, which let you put things from a race boon on a PC who is not a member of that race.

Nope.

Scenarios with these boons:
Glass River Rescue and Valley of the Veiled Flame have boons to that effect. There may be more by now.

Yeah, there's at least 2. For Wayang and Grippli.

Beats me why we gather these. I'm trying not to Seeker any of the peeps I've got them on. Fear of missing out, etc.

One of those three boons does have a planned pay-off coming up in the middle of Season 7. I don't have an exact date set for the other to trigger. I'll be keeping in mind that not everyone will necessarily have the same character who earned the boon in the appropriate level range, and I anticipate there being a way to apply some or all of the benefits even if that's the case. It's one of the scenarios I'm currently developing, so I can't provide significantly more concrete information than that; I haven't finalized that text.

That's more than enough, thank you. NDA is a harsh mistress.

If it could be written sort of like some of the recent Season 7 boons (that apply to any PFS character one has once) that might be a useful thing.

I like boons that open for or activate from boons from other characters. Though, I think they should be rare. Kept special for options that usually a character would need to be built around or when the likelihood the same character would run all required scenarios to activate it is very small.
In fact, I've got a character I'm leveling now who will one day benefit from certain Gnoll feats due to this.

Ok, glad I hadn't missed something.
