You make a solid argument, Master Pett.

There is no legit comeback to a mnarring xorn.

Just give him the gems and boogie.

Thanks for all the answers. Guess I'll go looking for a bit of additional pledge money ^^.

I've taken to doing everything in digital, as the print tends to just take up space in my office. But limited editions tend to worm their way in like some festering dead.

If you do buy a print copy, be sure to have somewhere secure to lock her up, she might get out and do something nasty...

Your wonderful words have convinced me, a first time kickstarter. Now you have a veteran looking around very nervously.

Keep up the wonderful (or is that horribly creepy?) work.

I put in $187 last night. That's for the print+pdf for PFRPG for the core book, the Crucible, Bloody Jack, and the luxury set of cards.

Seannoss and Duiker, I'm really happy you've jumped aboard, I can only promise you an unpleasant time, however, heh heh.

Thank you kindly, and keep an eye out on those alleyways and gables.

OK, upped to 169 $ (2 adventure pdfs + luxury GM reference set).

Looking forward to it, sir! This is the fifth (I think?) Kickstarter of Frog God's I've backed because of their exceptional quality. That combined with the fact that you have written some of my favorite entries in the Pathfinder world made this a no-brainer to back. I'm very excited to sit down and read this behemoth, based on the exquisite text posted thus far.

Only to $478 left to go before it hits the funding mark. That's an impressive gain when you consider we haven't hit the "remind me" threshold yet

And it looks like I'll need to up my pledge by $92 to get all the print goodness I want.

only $161 to go!

Sorry Richard, Bill and all but unfortunately, after having to spend 400 quid on a fridge freezer as apparently ice cream is more important than Dungeons and dragons, I'm going to have to sit this Kickstarter out.

WE DID IT!

Muwahah-

Sorry, I mean, mnaaaaaaaaaarrrr.

Now, on to the stretch goals!

Have you considered the chilling power of Richard's writing?

;P

Well, PDFs should always be available, and at very reasonable prices. ^^ I think they'll still have a limited stock of hard copies you could go for, too, so it's not like you're totally out of the running.

The cards are neat. I am shocked how much I use my SW cards.

Pathfinder Rulebook Subscriber

Just added $20 to my pledge for the card set, and in doing so pushed it over the $76k line, adding the first stretch goal! Yay, I'm helping!

Dark Archive

so when do we get to pick our game version, i.e Pathfinder vs anything else?

You pick your version during the Backer Kit phase, which will happen after the main campaign finishes.

Now with an OGL to play with I really hope we hit the 100k! Still a lot of days to pick up more pledges:)

FGG'ers and/or Mr. Pett:

To confirm, does the proposed Stretch Goal Blight Player's Handbook include all the system-neutral information from the Blight Player's Guide as well as the player-specific rules from the Blight GM Guide?

blew past that first stretch goal rather nicely. :D

Huzzah, lots more to come hopefully:)

Aye; have you seen The Road movie wit Viggo Mortensen?
That's some hard stuff to watch man. Heavy movie.
It's Like Book of Eli except divorced from the male "Im a solitary badazz postapoc samurai gunslinger badazz" fantasy.

On the subject of Aliens meanwhile, I grokked Prometheus as eye-candy but the movie story left me extremely irritated.

Mad Max: Fury Road......absolutly no complaints. Watched it 3 or 4 times.

HUZZZAH!!!

Hey - at what points are the stretch target? Particulary Al Rigg's contribution?

WARNING - Al's adventure is unlocked:)

I've cast a binding and impossible to ignore summons on Vaughan, so hopefully he'll come along and answer that Mythraine. I'm not sure right now what the guide will exactly have from what I've provided.

Posted earlier:

"...The Tome of Blighted Horrors will be in print for 5e, PF, and S&W even if we don't hit the 100k 5e print goal.

So join in and spread the news to 5e fans everywhere. Even if they don't want a whole campaign setting or a pdf, they might still like a book of new, twisted, and depraved monsters, the likes of which could only be found in the Blight.

Greg"

This is a monster book that is separate from The Blight book. The 5E print of the Blight is still set at $100,000 level.

I am excited! So glad this funded, though I don't think I can afford to add all the add-ons I want.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

cycnet, I had to drop back to the HC book and no add-ons yet. I will add in the rest of the add-ons once the Backerkit survey comes out.

Here's a suggestion, just add the add-ons that are exclusive to the KS and add the ones that show a retail cost either when the Backerkit surveys come out or as you can afford them. That's pretty much what I have done in the past.

Upped mine by another $42 bringing it up to $209 - glad I started working again!

Hope we can soon get the The Tome of Blighted Horrors out into the night.

Contributor

Hoorah! You are fine folks of infinite good taste and a worrying deranged edge.

Into the last few hours of madness chums, if you could just see Sister Blight in her sweaty, corpulent, mad glory, seething, biting at her bonds, wanting to be free.

She makes me slightly nervous...

M'naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrppp, looks like 95 is about to be breached me hearties....

Sitting at $99,029 with 36 hours remaining. Looks like the 5E print for the Blight is very likely to happen.

Great news for 5e fans it seems! 450 to go, also the monster book tois going be quite full. Now what goals lie beyond......

Whilst I was typing its gone to 100,100 :)

So happy to see how the stretch goal process is unfolding! That's terrific! I'm especially happy for Richard Pett. I can tell how thrilled he is to see his Labor of Love turn into an impressively popular commercial success. And selfishly, I'm thrilled that my friends and I get to ride his coat-tails as he builds and evolves Castorhage into the magnificent lumbering behemoth that it was destined to be! :-D

Quick question ... The Tome of Blighted Horrors ... these are indeed brand, spanking new creatures, yes? Not ported over from Tome of Horrors or modified from ToH in any way?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The campaign page explicitly cites the creatures in the Tome of Blighted Horrors as "new", so no, they shouldn't be copies of things that already exist. ^^ Speaking of, I may have to nudge my pledge upward for that...

Contributor

New and thoroughly horrid...

Contributor

and thank you Crai, for staunch support and cheering throughout (and you too GM Rednal and a few others that deserve medals for their support - actually there's a thought...)

I have decided not to tell Sister Blight where you live so for now, she won't eat you.

I'm genuinely wide-eyed in a Briny-boy way to see where Sister Blight heads now, we've still quite a few hours to go (35 and counting), this could be interesting....

Huzzah!

Bumped to $254 to get the stretch goals in print. Congratulations on hitting 100K!

Yeah, the last-day boosts are always kind of fun to watch. XD Speaking of, I heard we had more stretch goals between 100k and 200k? Given where we're at, it might be time to post some of those up, just so we know what we're working towards.

Contributor

Greg's on them GM Rednal, and thank you Duiker, it'll be interesting to see where this goes now:)

any way of getting hard copy and pdf deal on the unlocked items?
