Mini container case

What do people use to contain/hold your minis? I have hundreds of them and they are in various containers but nothing that stacks nice.

Is there something out there for "normal size" and the large ones (giants, dragons, etc.).

Thanks in advance.

I use sterilite storage drawers.

The various units are stackable and the 8-1/2" x 11" units can hold most large and medium minis. There are a few "extra large" large minis that don't fit though. I use poster board to create dividers if I need one.

You might consider these...

How much you care really depends on how well painted they are.

At this point, I think I like KR mutlicase over Battlefoam, because you can more easily customize trays for varying size models, but both are good products. If your not transporting them regularly, Battlefoam also makes cardboard boxes to store the foam that can cut costs dramtically.

With prepainted, I use 2 inch deep Plano boxes. They are perfect. With lead/pewter, you will need to dish out the cash for the foam filled containers.

Thanks everyone, lots of options. I'll get something from here.

I have some of the fancy Army Transport bags and similar items, such as those Vic linked to, are great...

But on the cheaper side, there are tackleboxes. They aren't foam filled, but it is very easy to adjust the size of the inserts.

I prefer Feldherr cases here.

But for prepainted plastic I just buy storages cases in the tool section as the paint job is pretty sturdy and plastic bends.
One thing I have notices is plastic storage trays cost different in the tool section, in the Sport section(for fishing), and the craft section with those in the craft section costing the most and in the tool section the least.

Thanks everyone. I found some great cases at Dick's Sporting Goods in the fishing department. $20 for 4 large cases, holds about 50 minis or so.

Try Harbor Freight, you would be amazed at what you can get there at times.
