Let's say you're playing a summoner who's really really shy, and an eidolon who isn't (and who has taken ranks in social skills).

Now let's say you get a chronicle sheet that gives you a bonus to a social skill based on some in-game interactions during the scenario (+2 to Diplomacy vs. Aspis Consortium tengu, +2 to Intimidate vs. Ulfen humans living in Sargava, whatever).

The summoner has no interest or ability in using social skills on any NPCs, much less bluffing left-handed one-eyed genies from Nidal. Can the eidolon gain the benefit of the chronicle instead?

No. The chronicle sheet applies to the character, not to his pet.

You sure? I'm not sure I see why not. Your eidolon was presumably on that adventure too, and so would have shared in whatever deeds earned you that social bonus.

This is true, but the character is the one who gains the benefits of a chronicle. The eidolon is a class feature and nothing more.

By the rules, your eidolon doesn't get the benefit. It would however be entirely within the GMs discretion to assign a circumstance bonus based on the chronicle if you worked it into the role play.

Alternately, your shy character could put himself forward just enough to remind people that he (and his eidolon) were involved in X. (aid another, +2)

More amusingly, you can ask your GM if your eidolon can use you as a masterwork tool prop ("surely you wish to aid the hero of the crimson tower" gestures at summoner)

I do like that one the best, although the eidolon I have in mind is going to have a hard time referring to its summoner as anything other than 'medicine chest', 'healer's kit', or 'utility belt'.

I would expect no as the default but some dms might let you do it.

Sadly no. In the majority of cases, boons are written to specify your character, not their counterpart. A shame, considering eidolons are just as intelligent and generally capable as their master.

On the bright side, between ranks, evolutions to boost charisma, the glorious Skilled evolution, and constant access to aid-another by their own personal Elizabeth, a socially focused eidolon really doesn't need the help.
