Quitting a PbP game.

Online Campaigns General Discussion

Due to what appears to be serious time issues for the GM, I've announced my intention to leave a game at a thematically appropriate time. (When we're not stuck in a cave or when I die basically) But I need a bit of help, I want to stop receiving notices from it once I actually leave. Anybody know how?

Find the gameplay thread in the Play-By-Post subforum, and click the button to ignore the thread. That'll take it out of your games list.

It also helps if your GM sets you as inactive.

Yes, the best way is for the GM to make you inactive. Then the campaign will move to the bottom of the Campaigns page in your profile under Previous Campaigns.

If the GM won't for some reason, you can hide the gameplay thread using the ∅ button, as GM Rednal says, and have it disappear from your Campaigns page.

If the GM quits posting altogether, the game will automatically move down to your Previous Campaigns area when there have been no posts in the gameplay thread for 3 months.

I knew the third one, the second I've done before and hasn't worked, the first one I suspected Joana.
