Am I understanding Overhand Chop and Backswing correctly, is my main question. All criticisms asked for.

Overhand Chop and backswing can't occur in the same round.

Overhand chop gives you the boost to SINGLE attacks (standard action attacks, charges, etc.). Not full attacks.

Backswing is for full attacks.

The idea is that this boosts damage to things that need it- single attack actions are kinda weak in this system, and the attacks after the first are decreasingly less likely to hit (thus, boosting the damage makes them more valuable). The first attack in a full attack already has enough going for it with getting full BAB and fusious focus on it.

Ok, thanks. So full attack would be +14(2d12+7(str)+pa etc) and +7(1d12+10(str). +pa etc) ?

When it comes to dwarf fighters, it looks like you could use a bit of a rebuild to your stats, and a change in primary weapon choice.

Since dwarves are slow, you should be worrying less about moving around and trying to use a reach weapon, the Dorn Derger being the optimal choice, as it can switch between being a reach and non reach weapon. This feat can help out too.

For stats, 16 14 14 7 10 9

After racial 16 14 16 7 12 7
That extra attack of opportunity matters, a lot. Lunge is also a good feat.

Focus on standing back and attacking enemies as they come your way, and be an impenetrable wall for your allies.

Unfortunately we only have access to Core, APG, UC, and UM at the moment.

since I can't use that particular setup, what reach weapon would be best?

Bardiche if martial, fauchard if exotic.
