how to deal with my fellow players wierd actions

Advice

so im having a problem trying to play the situation my fellow players have put me in. one of them has taken a goblin baby and wants to make him a pet. the other character is supporting him. my old character got captured and im rolling a new one and my new character is about to be introduced. how do i deal with the fact they have a goblin being cared as a pet?

like when my old character was with the group and they found the goblin they started to flip out when i attempted to kill the baby goblin. to the point they threatened to kill my character

Seriously?

If they want to adopt a mascot/pet, why would you have such a problem with it that you would resort to murder, and go against your party to the extent that they threatened YOU with death also?

It's a Goblin.

Chill.

Yeah, who knows, perhaps they will learn that the goblin can be taught away from the twisted upbringing of the standard society, and it could be civilized, and become the precursor of an enlightened tribe of educated goblins?

I would make a character that is totally opposed to the abuse and misuse of this baby goblin. Slavery is wrong, goblins are not animals.

"And tha makes it better, you filthy longshank?"

I understand having an issue with the party keeping a goblin pet/mascot, but threatening murder over it seems like a huge overreaction. If you like the group and want to stay in the game, I recommend playing a character that believes the goblin can be raised differently and may not turn out evil if taught the right things.

Seriously, even when full grown that little dude is gonna have trouble threatening a COMMONER.

Let it be.
