Wildshape Druids vs. Werewolves?

Advice

I'm in a game where all the characters are level 4. We got our classes at random and I got a druid. I was thinking of going Wild Shape, but then it occurred to me I didn't know how my damage would work, as we'll mostly be fighting werewolves. Is there some way low level wild shape druids can work around that DR10/silver? So far, all I could think of is shelling out 36k gold I won't have for many levels for an Amulet of Mighty Fists, or waiting til level 8 and getting Eldritch Claws, or waiting until level 12 when my spell Greater Magic Fang would be able to give me the +3 necessary to overcome the DR.

Is there some other solution I've missed? As it stands with these limitations I'm wondering if I'm stuck going as a druid caster instead.

You can focus on summonong, battlefield control, and buffing when the werewolves come out, and take Moonlight Summons to have all creatures, including elementals, you summon treat their natural weapons as silver. For that sort of build, you should be human and take SF (conj) and augment summoning at first level, and moonlight summons at 3rd. Get an AC you can ride, or a domain that suits your combat style. ACs that are large at 4th include ape, camel, horse, and giant chameleon.

The bolded part won't work.

This spell functions like magic fang, except that the enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls is +1 per four caster levels (maximum +5). This bonus does not allow a natural weapon or unarmed strike to bypass damage reduction aside from magic.

Well you only have Wildshape 1/day at that level, meaning you can hardly rely on it for every encounter...
So I presume you would have other tactics for when you are not Wildshaped?
Anyways, I don't know any ways to bypass DR/Silver with Nat Weapons in your parameters,
but you could just try using Wildshape with Natural Spell and a bird form to "get out of harm's way".
Also, you could Wildshape into a Medium sized Ape that can use Humanoid weapons (with magic enhancement/Silver construction).
In both cases, Wildshape is basically just enhancing what you would normally be (cast/fight).

Wild shape into a gorilla. Since it's humanoid in form at least partially, your equipment should stay with you. Grab a silver weapon and go to town that way.

Nope, since the gorilla is an animal your gear will meld. Furthermore, gorilla is Large so 4th level druid can not change into one. What you can do, if your GM agrees that apes can use human armor and items, is to give your gear to a party memeber, change into a chimpanzee and then equip yourself again.

Scarab Sages

As Paladin of Bawah who says, focus on being a caster/summoner druid. A druid makes a great battlefield control class when the encounters are in wide outdoor areas.

Traits like Child of the Moon give +4 to stealth during a full moon which may help keep you safe
Moon caller druid archetype might be a good choice.

I don't know if Druids can take the Darkness domain, Moon subdomain, but that may also be useful, giving the werewolves 20% miss against your party members.

Or just bypass silver by taking Elemental Ally druid archetype, where you get an elemental eidelon similar to the unchained summoner. This way he is doing fire or acid etc damage, and you don't have to worry about the silver DR.

Shadow Lodge

A casting build would definitely be easier. That said:

Goliath druid is the way to go if you want to keep equipment (including silver weapons). You can get big, but still use silver manufactured weapons, and still have some utility from animal wild shape. You're limited to dinosaurs, but that's about the best sub-group of animals anyway, mechanically. If you don't like the thematics your GM might let you select a different animal sub-type.

I'm not sure about Mooncaller. While it feels thematic, only the disease immunity is really that useful for fighting lycanthropes. Werewolves will ignore your DR/silver using their natural weapons, and while you also get the ability to bypass theirs, it doesn't kick in until level 13, well after you'll actually need to deal with DR.
