Marvel's Damage Control

This could be interesting

I'd love to see it get a full season.

Indeed.

Down side to damage control was that it could be TOO silly at times.

The first series was great. Just enough humor mixed in. It was in later series that it started getting silly.

Spoiler:
I really like the episode where their accountant confronted Dr. Doom about a past due bill.

I always liked the concept. Somebody's got to clean it all up and repair the damage.

Not to mention, can you imagine the insurance rates for property for people living in Marvel's New York or DC's Metropolis? Holy cr@p!!

That's why they make the super heroes and villains pay their insurance premiums.

Also, Reed Richards invented much of their equipment (and maybe Doom as well). This makes things easier and faster than with normal equipment. They can replace the top floors of a building in only a few days.

a show about She-Hulk's law firm would be fun too

Oh GOD, yes. That series was amazing. It was firmly in the Marvel universe, but like Damage Control, followed up on the legal issues that would occur as a result of super powers. The issue where Spider-Man sued J. Jonah Jameson for libel is one of my favorites, though one of my friends always mentions the issue where she defends Captain America from a wrongful death suit - and the prosecutor is Matthew Murdock!

I love Damage Control and ideas like the She-Hulk's law firm (just take the recent 12-issue run and use that as a springboard). Stuff that focuses on how superheroes impact the fictional world makes the setting that much more fascinating to me.
