I've seen one before, I think it's in one of the Varisia player companions, maybe the one that came out right around Shattered Star?

Will his battle cry be. "I'm the Shoveler... I shovel well."?

SHOVEL

Type Price Weight
Common 2 gp 8 lbs.
Folding 12 gp 12 lbs.
This tool lets you dig a pit at a rate of 2 cubic feet per minute. If a shovel is used in combat, treat it as a one-handed improvised weapon that deals bludgeoning damage equal to that of a club of its size.
Folding Shovel: A folding shovel is a full-sized shovel with a sturdy sectional handle that folds into pieces no longer than the shovel blade, allowing it to fit in a smaller space such as a backpack. Converting the shovel from its folded state to usable (or vice versa) is 2 full-round actions.

Rough and ready trait methinks. (use tools of proffesion as weapons) "This trait is commonly used with shovels, picks, blacksmith hammers, and other sturdy tools"

Rough and Ready + Catch Off-Guard + Improvised Weapon Mastery = Greatsword + Weapon Focus

Something with the heft of a two-handed martial weapon should not count as an improvised 2-pound club. An "entrenching tool" weighs less, and is often used (in fiction, where it counts) to split skulls like an axe.

If it's a spade-like, hefty shovel, "improvised greataxe" sounds good to me.

We have someone using Rough and Ready to wield a shovel in Serpent's Skull. I ruled it as an improvised greatclub.

A club with a large blade attached to the end that often is sharp.
I have seen a D&D shovel with stats but not a pathfinder version. I was hoping i might have missed it or something.
