Hey friends.
I'll come out and say it, I've had a few failed campaigns here (under another account), which I've vanished from inexplicably. I'm here to atone for my sins, for whatever they're worth, and for whatever this is worth.
I'm running a one shot, I'm not making any crazed promises this time. It's a fresh start. If you want to shun me like the plague, I'm all for it. Every day some misfortune happens to me. But I don't complain, I'm used to it, I even smile.

Anyways - dreamers is the theme we're going for here. You're all dreamers pulled into the same dream.
Then again, who isn't?
Being dream versions of your characters means you can go big, dream big. Max HP. 30 point buy. 2 extra skill points per level. 2 favored class bonuses per level. Gestalt it.
No, scratch that - tristalt it. Homebrew, third party, bad decisions, it's all game - knock yourselves out. Naturally, if I ask you to change something, I expect it to be done.
Backstories are important. Don't forget.
Any questions or further clarifications will be addressed below.

Hmmm.
When I made this recruitment thread I wasn't completely in my right mind, as you might say. So the bad news, is that I have no idea where I was planning to go with this. The good news is that I'm still up to the task of running something quick and easy like this, but first let's clean up these recruitment details a bit shall we?

Character Creation Guidelines
Plot Hook and Background Information
I hope you're ready for this - I've spent hours crafting the perfect plot hook for bringing you into the realm of dreams - I think you'll agree that I've really outdone myself on this one.
If you've made it through that masterpiece alive, here's what I'm looking for background wise:
Was it a particular pet? A certain toy? Or perhaps a desire to see a famous person or place? To never be hungry or to know a lost parent? Perhaps to travel? Or was it to return to a certain place?
Consider your character’s origin and childhood as you answer this question and choose a personal Dream.
“What did your character desire in adolescence?”
Did the character seek the love of a particular person? Acceptance in a group of people? Perhaps she desired money to pay for essentials, the approval of an authority figure, or merely power? Was there a girl? A guy?
Consider your character’s social status as it may influence this personal Dream.
“What does your character strive for as an adult?”
Maybe the character wants immense wealth or a marriage to a particular person? Perhaps just to bed a specific person? Perhaps a desire to join a prestigious group or organization? Is he after land and titles? Or just a simple sort of life?
Consider your character’s religious beliefs, if any, as you choose this personal Dream.
You are encouraged, but not mandated, to include details, including names, physical descriptions, and personalities. Ceremonies should have dates. Organizations and groups should be connected to famous people, deeds or locations.
When these questions have been answered, rank these Dreams in order of importance: the most important will be your Hope, the second will be your Aspiration, and the last will be your Goal.
Pardon the wonky formatting - these bullet points give me so much grief.

I assume path of war is fair game? How do you feel about playing unerrataed classes? specifically I'm looking at either the original white haired witch or the scarred with doctor. Got a bunch of idea in my head... Would you allow an Magus with the Esoteric archetype to use spell combat and twf at the same time?
Got so many ideas for this. Scarred Witch/Bloodrager/Vivisectiobist ; White haired witch/warder(dervish defender)/either esoteric magus or vivisectionist ; sorcerer/oracle(heaven)/enlightened paladin... EDIT: Aww, I see that you dropped tristalt, ah well, back to the drawing board, my questions still stand though...
Very interested to know how far in levels we'll make it.

How are you with jedi? I'd love to use the Consular class from Star Wars Revised edition, it's almost d&d 3.5e, so it should be very compatible with pathfinder.
Here's the bits I'd like to use:
Skills: 6+int, (Bluff, Craft, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Heal, Knowledge:All, Linguistics, Sense Motive)
+0BAB, +2F, +1R, +2W
Proficiencies: Simple & Ligthsaber (+blaster pistols, but that doesn't apply here)
Special
Free Lightsaber
Force Sensitive - Allows her to use basic force skills & put ranks in them.
Force Training - Gives her a force feat, in this case Alter, which allows her to use Alter force skills & put ranks in them.
Deflect(Defense) - Lets her deflect ranged attacks, giving her a +1 bonus to AC until the end of her next turn. Uses her next move action, but should probably just be an immediate action in the pathfinder ruleset.
Defense Bonus - Gives her an always-on +3 to AC, Touch AC, and FF AC. Should probably not stack with armor in the pathfinder ruleset.
Heal another can be used on a particular target once per hour at most.
Using force skills costs hp, with the cost varying skill by skill.
Force Sensitive Category
Empathy - Tells her the target's mood. Will DC 11 negates, if failed, also gives a skill bonus on interaction skills (bluff, diplomacy, intimidate, sense motive) depending on skill result: ...-4: +1 / 5-14: +2 / 15-24: +3 etc. Costs 2 hp, standard action.
Enhance Ability - Gives a bonus on Str or Dex, lasts 1 minute. Bonus depends on skill result: ...-14: +0 / 15-19: +2 / 20-24: +4 etc.
Friendship - As Written Diplomacy as a full-round action, works on everything living. Costs 2hp.
Alter Category
Affect Mind - Is a jedi mindtrick, as in the movies. Will negates, DC depends on skill result: ...-4: DC 5 / 5-14: DC 10 / 15-24: DC 15 etc. Full Round Action. Costs 2hp.
Force Grip(Darkside) - Deals 3d6 damage to 1 target, Will Halves. Will DC depends on skill result: ...-9: DC 10 / 10-19: DC 15 / 20+: DC 20. Standard Action. Costs 4hp.
Force Lightning(Darkside) - 30ft Cone of lightning, 3d8 damage, reflex halves. Reflex DC scales with skill result: ...-9: DC 10 / 10-14: DC 15 / 15-19: DC 20 / 20+: DC 25. Standard Action. Costs 6hp.
Force Strike - - Deals 3d4 damage to up to 4 adjecent targets, Reflex Halves. Will DC depends on skill result: ...-9: DC 10 / 10-19: DC 15 / 20+: DC 20. Standard Action. Costs 2hp.
Heal Another(Lightside) - Touch to restore Hp or ability damage. Amount & cost based on skill result: ...9: None / 10-14: Stabilize / 15-19: 1d4+1hp / 20-24: 1d6+2hp or 1d2ap / 25-29: 1d8+4hp or 1d4+1ap. Costs 1/1/1/2/4hp. Full-round action.
Move Object - Levitate object as a move action. Can keep it up over multiple rounds by keep spending move actions. Table decides how heavy stuff you can move.
Weight - Skill DC - Hp Cost
0-5kg - 10 - 1
6-50kg - 15 - 2
51-500kg - 20 - 4
etc.
Can also be used as an attack, with objects weighing up to 50kg. Is then a full-round action, works like a ranged attack, and dazes the target on hit. 6-50kg objects also deal 1d4 damage.
So that's everything from in there. Acceptable? I'd probably use it together with a Zweihander Sentinel Warder.
Fluffwise, she's a jedi master who's dreaming of her time as a padawan, only she can't find her master...
