If I am posting in the wrong area I apologize, I've done some searching into how to become a venture captain and other such things... I am trying to organize players in my area and I was looking for some advice as to what I can do to be more involved in the community and earn GM stars, etc because I would love to be more involved in cons and such.. Ive played for a while now and hope to do more. Thank you all!

Liberty's Edge

Hey there - this should be down in the PFS section.

Flagging as in the wrong forum so it gets moved there ...

This is the wrong sub forum but it has been flaged so I'm sure it will get moved.

If you havn't looked here yet,

that would be good.
While there are benefits to being a VO you certainly don't need to be to get things moving in your area. I started organizing things well before I became the VL for my area.

My advice on getting started is
1) Find a space that is willing or even happy to have you.
2) be consistent.
3) Start with the free quests as demos and bring lots of pregens.
4) Don't be worried if your tables dont get going right away. Just being in you event regularly and visibility you can start gathering people if you have a few friends who are interested try to convince them to come with you if it will get you a minimum table.

Thank you very much, I have been doing a lot of networking and talking around, I appreciate the feedback a lot. I will likely get into the discussions on the forums here a lot too, I have had many positive experiences with everything so far and I hope to continue to do so.
