Problem with placing an order

My wife and I are trying to place an order. We click on the [View Cart] link, and it shows the Shopping Cart. We click on [Proceed with Order] and it goes to the prompt asking for login password. We submit the password and the site returns to the paizo.com homepage. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

We have tried each of our two different accounts on three different computers (all Mac). We are running Firefox 40.0.3.

This was moved from the Customer Service forum. I'm not sure that this forum is the correct location. I would like to actually order those products, not merely give feedback on your website.

Hey Fox,

I ran an order through on our QA platform using your account and was unable to reproduce the issue. My suspicion is that your browser had a hiccup and wrote a bad session cookie.

If you run into the issue again, bring your account up on a different browser and try from there (you're shopping cart will have all of your selections in it, so you'll just have to run through the checkout process). If that works, just shut off the first browser and that will remove the session cookies.

If you try that and still have the issue with the second browser, reply to this thread and we'll work with you to get repo on QA so we can figure out what's going on.

Greetings, I wasn't sure if I should start a new topic or post on this one since I am having a problem very similar to The Fox.

I do everything that The Fox described, however when I press the [Proceed with Order] it brings me back to step 2 with the Select Payment step. I have tried this several times on three different browsers, and already consulted the forums for a solution. The one topic I did find mentioned some things to check with my account and I made sure things like the billing address are identical.

I know I have purchased from Paizo before as well, so this has just left me baffled. Thanks for any help.

Hello ArenTrel,

Your issue is a little different from The Fox and is a customer service issue. Each time you attempt to place the order we are getting back a decline on the card of "General decline of the card. No other information provided by the issuing bank."

We have put in a request to have the website provide more feedback when this happens so you will know what is going on.


Thank you for the reply. I can report that my bank did give me a call about half an hour ago about suspicious activity. I confirmed that it was a purchase I was making so hopefully that clears things up.

That appears to have resolved the issue. I was able to submit it and it went through just fine. You should be receiving an email confirmation and the PDFs are available to download from your My Downloads page.
