Suzerain Template for a PC, how to price it?

Advice and Rules Questions

My players are visiting the Witch market in the First world in our ongoing Kingmaker game.
And one of them (Who is the bastard sire of Rogvaria) is hoping to buy himself the power to rule.

We've looked around together and the best thing we can find for this is this template
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates/suzerain-creatu re-cr-1

Obviously this would be an incredibly powerful boost to any PC, doubly so in this case since he's a bard, however his character has Fey connections and I can't think of any justifiable reason he wouldn't be able to get his hands on such power and he's said out of character that he's pretty much willing to trade anything for this. Money, item slots, physical stat bonuses, memories.
I'm leaning towards pricing it at about 40-50K of gold (In character it'd be traded in perfumes, created from the blossoms of that one plant that Nymphs grow (Midnight Roses?))
But this seems a bit low, on the other hand I don't want to throw down a price that's so absurdly high that he can't afford it (Level 9, but they've got a lot of cash to throw about after the archer got a lucky shot on a Green dragon)

Can anyone give me any advice on how much this should cost him? Maybe drawbacks I could apply to it to bring the price down, or other options I can offer him as alternatives.

I would make it cost a level or three, myself. Make him drop a bard level for a level in commoner and such.

Alternatively, if we are going metaphysical, I would ask to trade their wisdom, driving them mad (8 penelty to charisma.)

you could ask for his soul, but that's a bit cliche.

you could ask for his kingdom, or his rank, with a fey taking his place.

The problem with those is that 3 of them basically go entirely against what he wants to gain (Charisma enough to reclaim Brevoy and leadership power enough to become basically King Arthur) and the other one would make him doomed-unplayable.

I'm looking for something difficult but not unreasonable

Dark Archive

You could have the character trade 1 level, his 7th 11th and 15th level feats, along with him having to succeed one-on-one an APL+4 encounter in order to save those who he leads from certain destruction. Give him the benefits of Enchanting Presence and Born To Lead immediately, then give him his choice of the remaining three abilities in whatever order at 7th, 11th, and 15th when he gives up his feats.

120.000 Gold.

And a a drawback make him have a "Mojo Focus" which is the source of his suzerain abilities, that if destroyed will make him loose the template and revert to standart human level.

Perhaps an amulett, ring, crystal globe, etc.

Slip him to Slow XP progression instead of Medium.

These prices should probably at least be doubled because they stack with everything. But you wants conservative pricing.

+6 Charisma = 36k
+4 Int = 16k
+4 Wis = 16k
Free feat = 10k
+8 Bluff = 6.4k
+14 Diplomacy = 19.6k
+6 Intimidate = 3.6k
+10' base speed = 5.5k
+4 Morale Bonus to AC/to hit/Damage/Checks/Saves > Karyukai tea set = 38k

Its easily values at more than 150k in (good) mechanical benefits. As most of these buffs are untyped and stack with everything its probably well over 300k, so you are really stuck with sticking him with lots of plot related trouble. Honestly I'd probably tone all the bonus down a ton, but its not my game and its difficult to evaluate from a posted information.
