Is ultimate psionics pathfinder society legal?

As the title asks. I checked the additional resources page and ultimate psionics is flat out not listed. Is this an error, or is the entire book illegal in pathfinder society? I'd like to know because I want to make a Kitsune Mesmerist character for PFS, but don't know if it's legal due to not being listed on the additional resources page. If somebody could clarify, I'd be grateful.

Paizo does not allow third party materials in PFS. It is not an error, Paizo uses PFS to sell Paizo, not DSP or anyone else.

It's simple; if what you want to use is not in Additional Resources, it's not legal for PFS.

I suspect that the error is that you're looking for the wrong book, it may be that the book you're looking for is Paizo's Occult Adventures book, for psychic characters of which the Mesmerist is one.

To clarify a bit on what LazarX said, Ultimate Psionics is a third-party book by Dreamscarred Press that updates the Psionics system from 3.5E D&D to work better with the Pathfinder ruleset. It is not and was not created by Paizo, and so is not allowed for PFS Organized Play.

Having said as much, the Mesmerist class you mentioned is not found in Ultimate Psionics. Rather, it is from the fairly recently released Occult Adventures book, which is from Paizo and is PFS-legal, with certain exceptions.

Check for "Occult Adventures" in the Additional Resources and you should find it.

Keep in mind you do need to own the source for all material your characters are using, so you'll need to pick up Occult Adventures to make that character.

As well as the Advanced Race Guide (or an equivalent) for playing a Kitsune.

Equivalents being Bestiary 4 or Dragon Empires Primer. You must provide a Paizo rulebook that has stats for the option (you can choose which source you use and produce for stats, if they're different and both legal).

Don't you also need a chronicle sheet that allows you to play a kitsune? I love one race, but I can't play in in Standard till I have the chronicle that will allow it. Which I should be getting on the 27th.

As of the start of Season 6 (last year), you no longer need a Boon to play a Kitsune (or Wayang or Nagaji).

Huh, what book are those in? I've been a fan of the Aasimar race since I first tinkered around with one using a VERY silly build I did for a rappan athik campaign. The character was a young, half fiend, half dragon, Aasimar hydrokinetic. Yes, the GM actually allowed all 3 templates at once. I was limited to 10 points at char creation instead of 20 though.

Can't play an aasimar in Standard till after next weekend's convention though. I signed up to GM We Be Goblins Too during it so I could get free access to the con all weekend. That, and get the con's boon allowing me to play an aasimar. Bought Blood of Angels in prep for having the boon. Love the new options in it.

Those 3 races appear in a few different sources, but if you spend $10 on the Advanced Race Guide PDF you'll have access to those and Aasimar.

Maybe next month. At the very least I was hoping to have a PDF to look them over in, even if it's not watermarked and PFS legal. Similarly I have to buy my own copy of Ultimate Magic before I can use it in PFS. I got a copy from my Sunday group's GM. But it's watermarked for the GM.

You can always check an online source like archives of Nethys to see if options presented are worth purchasing a book / PDFs for.

More options are always good. And eventually I should probably get everything (or at least most of the stuff) if I plan to GM much. Which I do. There's a nearby town that has a large PFS community... but very few people willing to GM. The region's PFS venture LT goes out there regularly to GM. I'm highly tempted to volunteer to help him out with that. Just need (okay, want) some modules and more rule books of my own first. It sits poorly with me to depend on the regional coordinator for the modules I'm gonna run.
