Librarian Character help

Advice

Hello,
I am new to pathfinder and am looking to create a new character. I want to make a librarian character that when anger speaks more with her fist and less with words. That being said I still want her to be able to have a skill in all the knowledges. Can someone help me? Currently I am think monk with a level in cleric (knowledge domain) but I am not sure.

I think Tome Eater archetype of Occultist is a good fit.

You can spec into phsyical side with a few spells. The transmutation bit does well for a face hitter. and it is Int based so you can stilll have good knowledges.

You can speed read books super quickly as well... and eat forbidden books i guess haha.

Transmuation, Divination +whatever would be good choices for your Occultist Implements.

Oh this is all from the Occult Adventures book. You can also find it all on D20pfsrd.com to see if you like the class and then later buy the book if the content suits your fancy.

@Zwordsman It looks interesting but I was thinking of trying to make more of a physical character than a magical one but I will put it under consideration.

Are you naming your character Conan the Librarian after the Weird Al Sketch?

I just want you to know that real librarians only eat books when doing weeding, so our diet primarily consists of books with out of date information, mildew, water damage, or just the stinkers that no one else wants to read.

I always get indigestion when weeding... there's so many bad books to process.

Hmm

@Hmm Not sure yet what I am naming the character. I work at a library so I thought it would be cool to make a character similar to myself. I have not heard of Conan the Librarian. I am going to have to look it up!

I'd go with a Cestus using Lore Warden Fighter.

Interesting what book do I need for the lore warden archetype?

Dark Archive

Urban barbarian

Pathfinder Society Field Guide.

A good build would be:

Human (Dual Talent alternate racial)
S16+2 D14+2 C12 I14 W12 CH7

Traits: Defender of the Society, Seeker

Feats:
1. Medium Armour Proficiency, Two Weapon Fighting
2. Power Attack
3. Weapon Focus
4. Weapon Specialisation
5. Iron Will
6. Double Slice
7. Combat Reflexes
8. Improved TWF
9. Critical Focus
10. Improved Critical
11. Two Weapon Rend

I immediately support this thread and the anger issues it represents :-D

May I introduce you to the kirin style and it's follow up kirin strike? As a swift action you add double your int to an attack (melee or ranged). Since it only applies once you can build it into single attack builds (spring attack, vital strike, lance charging). So now you have a choice: got normal melee class (fighter/urban barb/ranger/ect) and have int as a tertiary stat (str or dex being primary, con as a secondary) or go as a int based class (magus/alchemist) and building towards melee. I could easily see an alchemist as a librarian. Double bonus on the alchemist: get a conductive amulet of mighty fists and now your punches explode (dealing your int as damage again).

Only suggestion is buy all 10 pathfinder chronicles. They provide +2 if read read 1d4x4 seconds. Easy to skim out of combat and a nice flavor.

Muscle wizard? Transmutation school, spend point buy on strength, aim for transmutation buffing spells later?

Barbarians are the traditional "don't make me angry - you wouldn't like me when I'm angry"-class. You'd need plenty of traits to make all the knowledge skills class skills though.

Skald has all knowledge skills as class skills, bardic knowledge giving half his class level (min 1) as a bonus to knowledge checks, martial weapon proficiency and medium armor proficiency, and raging song is a somewhat weaker version of the barbarian's rage feature, only applied to all willing allies and no fatigue. Basically a Bardbarian. Using bardic knowledge and skill points as your favored class bonus (and maybe human) you can have a high skill bonus on pretty much all knowledge and be a fairly nasty melee combatant. Plus you have access to the Bard's excellent spell list, letting you toss out buffs to yourself and others like candy.

Is this a Conan the Librarian thing?

Bard. Some sort of bard will do the trick. Maybe an archaeologist bard.

But definitely some sort of bard. The anger bit is just fluff, you don't need a mechanical representation of that.
