Shaman Archetypes and Occult Adventures.

Rules Questions

Are there any Shaman Archetypes that give up Wandering Spirit and Wandering Hex and gain some Occult Adventures based material in return?

No Shaman Archetype. The older classes that got any new archetypes are Alchemist, Barbarian, Bard, Cavalier, Fighter, Inquisitor, Investigator, Magus, Monk, Paladin, Rogue, Witch and new Sorcerer bloodlines.

Nutbunnies! :(

Will we be getting any other Occult Archetypes in another manual?

On one hand yes, on the other hand probably not the ones you want.

Both Occult Origins and Occult Realms seem to be focusing heavily on providing support for the new classes rather than adding occultish options to existing ones.

Occult Realms seeems like it might have a little, but more along the lines of ritual magic rather than archetypes.

As a final note, the Shaman is a class all about channeling various natural spirits that can be switched out to gain divine power. The medium is a class all about channeling various legendary spirits that can be switched out to gain occult power. There is a ton of overlap there thematically, if not necessarily mechanically.

Yup, there is a great deal of overlap in general with the Shaman and many of the Occult Classes. I'm hoping we'll see a Shaman Archetype that sacrifices Wandering Spirit and Wandering Hex to gain a divine / primal version of the Spiritualist's "Phantom" ability though I wouldn't be opposed to using abilities from other Occult-based classes as well. :D
