One request - when/if you do a full campaign setting map, please indicate on the map where more details for each location can be found. For example, for the ruins of Tsen, it would refer you to the Sword of Air product (in addition to any other product that has a lot of details on Tsen, if applicable).

Great that it funded to all stretchy goals, can' wait to get my hands on the monstrosity. I may even be moving my RPG collection from storage to hand by early next year -I have only a small selection ATM admittedly about 1/3 FGG stuff (1/3 5E plus the rest bits and bobs!)

Yay!!! Good chance I will have moved to Alaska by the time this is printed. Hopefully I can find a new group of players there that I can run all my FGG games with.
When are you moving there, Dragonmoon?
I am moving to Anchorage in December-January.

I think that you will be safely in Alaska or going in the same direction the book is. ;)

C'mon, DaveMage, it's me! I may not always bee a grate speler, but you know my OCD would allow nothing less than to reference my sources. ;-)

I don't yet know the exact details of how we'll be doing it, but we will definitely be including references of some sort in the campaign setting to allow people to find out more detailed info in specific FGG/NG products. However, it probably will not be on the map itself to avoid clutter.

Doh...missed it by that much (said in my best Maxwell Smart voice). Will there

a) be an opportunity to purchase The Northlands Saga through the FGG website after it releases

or even better

b) is there still any window for direct paying FGG to get a pre-order placed now?

Dr JF, I am fairly certain that there will be chances to purchase this book both at FGG and Paizo once it gets printed. Truthfully I am somewhat surprised you missed this KS considering how often I pushed the link to the top of the page.

Hey Doc!

Yes on A, no on B. When we get Northlands printed and out the door to the backers, we'll have it available on the website for sale as well. It will also be available here at Paizo. We don't have any system in place to take preorders though.

Thanks!

Greg

@Herald Frog: yeah it was more a matter of getting the finances to line up at the right time as opposed to awareness about the KS. Real Life raided my discretionary spending fund at the exact wrong time (there really isn't a good time for that).

@Greg: thanks for the info. I'll definitely keep an eye on the FGG store for copies to go on sale once KS fulfillment is finished. Keep up the great work! Between Sword of Air, Cults of the Sundered Kingdom, and now The Northlands Saga, 2015 has been a big year for FGG!

Hey, Dr JF, believe me I know how that feels. You'll be able to get a copy though.

I just sent this email to Bill...

I just realized I made a mistake on the Northlands Saga Complete Kickstarter. I accidentally picked Sword & Wizardry when I meant to pick Pathfinder. Can this be fixed?

Dragnmoon, have you received your survey yet? Of not, you will soon I got mine yesterday. You should be able to change system in that.

Publisher, Frog God Games

Steven, what Silverhair said.

Here is the link to the new thread about the Borderlands Province KS.

I have the Survey, but I don't see a way of changing it. I can add the Pathfinder version of the books as add-ons, but not changing my pledge.

Howdy Dragonmoon,

I can change your pledge to a different system no problem, I just need your info. Please submit a support form here: https://www.froggodgames.com/support and I'll be happy to assist you.

Thanks Chuck, I try. Even when I'm sick and I haven't had my tea or breakfast yet ;)

Time to start saving for The Blight then. If the Pett doesn't get fed there'll be ... consequences.

PS: Mr Pett - is the similarity to the word Blighty a complete and utter coincidence?

So is it December yet? I feel a chill in the air somewhere I know!

FGG has to get through the Borderlands Provinces KS before the Blight KS can start.

I was talking about the Northlands!

I am anxious to see that one also.

Greg,

Any idea when the Northlands Saga Complete will be available for purchase on the FGG website for those that weren't able to get in on the Kickstarter?

Uh... right now?

PDF, anyway. Hardcover is still pre-order - they literally haven't gotten them in yet, I think. XD Might be a few weeks. That's what they said when I asked.

Though it could be worth ordering a physical copy right now anyway... I think they always give PDFs with the purchase of physical books, so you're not exactly losing out by buying early if you want the big, heavy book.

Pathfinder Lost Omens Subscriber

GM Rednal,

I've been trying the FGG store (same link you posted) for a couple of weeks now, but if you choose the hardcover it just tells you it's out of stock (no preorder option available there AFAIK). If you try PDF only the site just tells you your cart is empty without actually letting you purchase it.

Aaaaah. Yeah, in that case, looks like you'll just have to wait a few weeks. Alternatively, message them directly and see if there are any options - their customer service is pretty darn good.

@ Dr JF,
You might try sending an email to Chris at www.froggodgames.com/support.

Silverhair,

Yep I think that's the next step. I'm really kicking myself at this point for not getting the scratch together to pledge the KS when it was live. The original Northlands stuff was great and the added material in the Complete version looks like it turns it into a full fledged campaign, so it's worth the additional effort to try to get a copy when it does become available.

Having backed it and have the Pdf...if you liked the previous ones you are going to love this. It's really good. Uses the mass battle rules too if you want them for blood in the snow (part 4 of the old modules). It's well worth the wait.

Books are still at printer. Pre orders should be up. The modules are a hair behind, and should be at the printer soon. Bear with us, the holidays slowed everyone fown a bit. Well, except Chuck

Pathfinder Lost Omens Subscriber

Bill,

Is there a trick to pre-ordering Northlands Saga Complete on the FGG website? As of this morning, when I try to add a PF hardcover to the cart it just tells me it's out of stock and doesn't give any pre-order option. I sent an email to customer support via the website's Contact Us function on Tuesday but I haven't heard anything back yet.

Thanks!

Book is very cool! I am trying to work out a combined campaign with Reign of Winter. This should be a fun blend:) Look forward to the hard copies!

Publisher, Frog God Games

We wont have the physical book live until we ship to backers. Couple weeks?

Couple of weeks - WAHOO!

Modules and players guide may be a bit longer. But I understand the big books left yhe printer Friday.

Publisher, Frog God Games

Mailing started today. Be patient, these are big. Softcovers and add ons are still not here.

I shake my fist at the holiday weekend, since that'll delay deliveries.

On the bright side, it doesn't have to travel very far to get to me... so I think there's a good chance it'll arrive on Tuesday. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting this in my hands! ^^

Can't wait to see this. I've got big plans for this campaign. :)

Publisher, Frog God Games

Hang in there guys. We dont have the add ons yet. Steve, blacksmith got books yesterday. He said 4-5 weeks!

Will you wait for the metal cover book to ship all of the pledge level together?

Awesome.

Still tossing up over the blight metal book . It's hard to justify but would make an impressive addition to the bookshelf...

Shipping all at once.

I'll bet you 20 bucks Bill loves saying "blacksmith got [the] books".

All right, I got my copy in the mail! Let's see... taping looks nice, very solid, no sign of damage. Ah, and I see a bit of bubble wrap peeking out... opening it up, yup, they put some bubble wrap in to protect the front cover. Opening it up... everything's clear and easy to read, though I do note that the margins are very small. XD Probably to be expected for such a thick book.

Oh, and what's this in the back? Why, I do believe it's my full-color map, complete with traditional hexes...

Overall? I am very pleased with this book, and I greatly look forward to digging through it at my leisure. XD

My margins are always 3p (one-half inch or .127 cm). :)

I can't wait to recieve mine. I'm going to run it as a noob friendly campaign in my gaming club using the simplified casting variant. How do the Frogs feel about the automatic progression variant from Pathfinder Unchained? It seems a good fit dor the low magic items feel of this setting.

Liberty's Edge

Oops, forgot to ask. How long will we be waiting if we got all the add-ons and leatherbound? I seem to recall hearing one of those two things wasn't done yet.

I will be behind the rest of you in receiving my rewards. I pledged for the Steel cover. so I have to wait til the blacksmith finishes with the book before it can all be shipped together. Makes sense to save on shipping costs but adds to frustration.

@Silverhair2008: I can't fathom how awesome it must be to have a FGG steel cover book. :) Still, very excited for my regular deadtree! :D
